We booked this hotel last minute, but it was more than we expected! Great location, really friendly owner, great breakfast and we would definitely stay here again ! The room was nice and cozy with a really modern bathroom and fantastic views of the canal. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough!! And they have a cat!

The room or 4 people (we were 3) was little, but super comfortable. In Amsterdam every hotel is VERY expensive, but what to do... It was the best choice for us depending on the price and rewievs! The staff was nice. Room was very clean and well-equipped! We had comfortable stay for 2 night there! WIFI worked perfectly and we...

Only a 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 minute to the Dam, and is in the 9 streets area. Staff was very helpful. They went above and beyond for us -- we thought we had 1 more night and we were off on adventure returning around 6 pm. They were concerned about us and they moved us...

Stayed here for a night and could not fault it. We had a quadruple room on the first floor. Staff were very helpful and polite. Location was ideal - just a 5 minute walk from Dam Square and the value was brilliant. Clean and tidy throughout and a surprisingly comfy bed. Top place and would definitely look there when next...

Yet again hotel Hegra never seems to disappoint me......Lovely and clean throughout the hotel. The staffs are soooo helpful and kind. I stayed with 2 of my friends and we had the top floor room, which was a bit of a pain as the steps up to the room was very steep but the room was a good size for...

My husband and i stayed in Hegra for 6 nights. It is a tiny room with a tiny bathroom however we didn't need anything more as we were here to explore the city. It is located at a walking distance from most of the attractions we were planning to visit and close to the trams. The best thing about its...

There were 5 of us and we had rooms (a double and triple) on the top 2 floors. Yes the stairs are steep to get up there. The owner was incredibly nice and held our bags until our rooms were ready so we could explore the city a bit. The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. The hotel is...

Room number 2 had two single beds and a canal view. The room is simple, but clean and updated. The bathroom is completely new and very nice. Both my 20 year old daughter and i had excellent sleeps while there, which isn't always common for either of us, so they must be doing something right! location could not have been...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4 (children are 9 and 7). The hotel may be 2 star but you're getting 5 star location by staying there. It is basic but the hotel perfectly suited our needs. The room had 4 single beds, a tv and a toilet/shower room. Whilst hanging space was limited and there...

Arrived at the hotel to find spotlessly clean, fresh bedding and well heated. There is loads of hot water and fresh towels. The bathroom is tiny but hey you are on holiday! You just need to have a quick shower and back out to enjoy yourselves. The location is very close to Dam Square so it is ideal for sightseeing...
