Wonderful location, helpful staff and a great location. Clean, quiet and we would highly recommend! Steep stairs, but my daughter has to wear a boot for an injury and she could make it to our third floor room.

Very comfy bed. Perfect WiFi. Nice and lately renovated bathroom, relatively small, but all worked fine. Ok TV with HDMI/USB-Connection working great with Chromecast. Perfect location in Amsterdam, nice view over the Herengracht-channel (rooms 2, 4, 6 and 10), most attractions in walking distance; good Restaurants and shops. Friendly and service-minded staff. Fairly quiet at night. Steep and narrow stairs,...

The location is great - 15 min walk from the train station, 5 min to the Anne Frank House, and about 20 min to the Rijksmuseum & Van Gogh Museum. We were in room 4 which faces the canal. The stairs to get to the room are very narrow and steep. We didn't have a problem but those with large...

Great location. Room was small, basic but clean. Great shower. Beds comfy enough. We had canal views (bedroom 2) but it was so noisey on a Saturday night - we had smoke come into room from porch, and completely unable to sleep due to car, bike, shouting and chatting noises from roadside all night! I would recommend a higher room...

Good location. Quiet street. Fellow guests were not quiet (in particular a group of drunken Japanese), but hotel can't help that. The three of us booked a quad room as that is what was available. Good thing we did, as we needed the spare bed to store our backpacks. I am used to cramped quarters, but this was a bit...

Just got back from this lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless. Breakfast was worth the money. Excellent location. Only downside are the steep stairs apart from that it's a lovely hotel and we would defo stay again

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, first in February 2016 and then again this weekend. I had an excellent stay on both occasions. Firstly, the location is superb. Located on one of the major canals, it's around a 5 minute walk to the Anne Frank house and less than 10 minutes to Dam Square. Central station is approximately 15...

A two night break for ageing parents! We are getting on a bit but still manage the Dutch stairs and these were really not bad at all, not for the infirm though. Clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast. We got there early and owner kindly had our room ready for us and also provided extra pillows for hubby. Would stay there...

nice location, pleasant reception. room basic, clean but quiet. downside, is very narrow stairs, which means mind your head and an effort lugging up suitcase when going upstairs. basically it's a no frills hotel

Myself, partner and our two teenage sons stayed here for 1 night. Our room (number 1) was the first, up the very steep staircase, so that was a plus (you learn to walk sideways!). This was at the back of the hotel, therefore no view, but was a good size, clean, but relatively basic. The bathroom, although compact, was beautiful,...
