Great Room, Great Location, Great Staff. I'd totally come back here and recommend to anyone to stay there.
Staff always willing to help and solve your problems. I had to arrive one day earlier and even when it was full, they managed to squeeze me...More
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is small and tall but nicely appointed with comfortable clean rooms. It is on a quiet street one block away from Museumplein and the trams. The stairs are very steep but there is a small elevator for...More
Hotel Fita is just the kind of charming, non-cookie cutter hotel that I love. It's very comfortable and homey, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great and there's a cozy breakfast room. (Try the little pancakes.) The hotel is in the...More
First of all, like others mentioned - this is not a 5 star hotel. It is quiet and charming, with tons of benefits, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

I'm seeing what's called a "large twin" room on their website. It looks like two twin beds pushed side by side. If that's not acceptable, email the hotel. They are very helpful and will let you know for sure what is available. Fita is a great choice if it has the type of room you are looking for.
