This is a great choice of accommodation in Amsterdam. First glance at a map and I thought it was out of town but it's not- it's a hop, skip and jump from the Rijksmuesum and the Concertgebouw. Handy and pleasant walk to the canals. It's...More
This hotel is in amazing location. It's on a more residential street in the museum quarter well within walking distance of Stedelijk, Rijks, MoCo, and Van Gogh Museums. Also nearby is Pieter Cornelisz Hoofstraat, where you can find every luxury brand under the sun (Tiffany,...More

An excellent location to the park and museums. Friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast. A nice clean comfortable room with a very nice bathroom. Lovely little garden in the back. Great to start the day there. Serene and calm. Lack for nought.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
