What a great little find, great hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, clean, great breakfast, fast internet. Very close to the Rijksmuseum (10 minute walk) and city centre (20 min easy walk). People will say the rooms are a little small, which they can be a...More
I was there for one night. Very friendly service.
Lift seemed very old. Room was small with a single bed. Walls were very thin. Could hear the neighbors talking away. I was told, Amsterdam was expensive but 158€ per night was too much, definitely. Didn’t...More
The hotel is in a perfect location if you're wanting to explore main attractions and one of the hop on hop off stops is around the corner from the hotel making it very convenient, the staff are friendly and chatty, the hotel itself is nice,...More
I liked the Owl Hotel. I found its location good--the Museum Quarter close as well as shops and restaurants. I had a pretty small room, however, (the single) even for Europe! But their breakfast is good and staff is friendly and helpful. YOU have to...More
I recommend this hotel, clean, tidy, near Amsterdam's attractions, breakfast was good, numerous choices, beautiful garden with a lovely cat, extremely friendly staff but the room (double bed) was a little bit small yet convenient.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
