The welcome was fantastic. The reception staff explained everything I need to know right away. Clean rooms, delicious food and the friendliest staff ever. I had the time of my life at this establishment. The bar and kitchen are one of, if not the best place I have eaten in Amsterdam. The bar staff did their job perfectly. The atmosphere was out of this world and the Dj at night was amazing. Thank you everyone for making this an unforgettable experience. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Myself , hubby , bro & sis stayed here for 2 nights in the 4 bunk dorm . Room was fine , beds comfy but room very hot , fan supplied but didn’t work , no tv . The hotel was very busy & our room did seem to get a lot noise from outside but I slept thru it all . Hotel has a restaurant & also a nice sheltered smoke area . It was our first time staying in a dorm in bunks it was fine but unsure if it really suited our group but no actual complaints !

6 of us stayed in an 8 bed dorm. Everything great from start to finish, clean bedding and towel every day, good breakfast, cheap drinks and food, not noisy (where we were), good facilities! Only bad thing is our shower room drain had a very unpleasant smell, despite being a really nice clean shower - we just bought air freshener and regularly sprayed it and the smell kept coming into the room. Would recommend this hostel, very central, loads to do and would stay again !!!

I went here with a friend and we enjoyed our stay here very much. Great service and we were always met with a smile. It is very central ao everything is very close. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the beds were fantastic. We had a great view of the street and the old bouldings. There is a bar that is always full of life. So if you want to meet someone new you can just go up and talk to somebody.

It’s my first time to stay in a hostel, and it exceeded my expectation. Room is basic, location is great, walking distance to Amsterdam Central. Staff are friendly and helpful. Staff from the bar on the ground floor are really nice and accomodating, especially Andrea, guest from the hostel have discount for food and drinks. I will be coming back.

This is an ok hostel, good location but the negative is if you are an early riser this place may not be for you! They have no real control of the common areas in early hours ( 5 am to 7 am ). I was quietly sitting having a coffee early when someone claiming to be staff ( dark haired, bearded, mid 20s ) started yelling at me to “ go to your room !” “Go to your f***ing room!” This area is f**king closed). He was clearly drunk / stoned and claimed to be staff! Wow! No one else who looked like staff was around. During these hours here it’s “ lodger beware!” In this place. Disconcerting to say the least

Would not recommend. First off, this place is in a literal club, which is fine but the rooms are on the same floor as the bar so it’s very loud. I’ve never had to leave a hostel so fast. Couldn’t even stay for 20 mins because it was so uncomfortable. I was with 5 girls and we booked a mixed dorm. We walked into the room and it was filled with an entire bachelor party drinking and smoking. It felt so uncomfortable and dirty. Would not recommend if you are a young girl if you stay in a mixed dorm. I’m sure the private rooms are fine, or maybe female dorms, but the mixed dorm was really bad.

It was almost in the central of Amsterdam som it was close to almost all the things a tourist would want to be close to. The cleaning there was half and half I would say. I was there during one cleaning and they gave me a new towel even though I hadn’t used the first one I got (positive) but the drawer under your bed to keep your things in were dirty and probably not cleaned in a long time if ever. When I first arrived I was doubtful about the place but it kind of grew a bit on me. Though I must say that there were some flaws: the ventilation went through my room the it was constantly noisy - not a good room for someone who needs quiet. There were no chance for privacy for there were no drapes or anything to close your bed of and the room (a shared bedroom with 8 beds) were almost too small to fit everything in there.…

The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The location was great, not far from the train station and walking distance from plenty of touristy things. The bar had a fantastic vibe, seriously good drink deals as well as had good dj's performing. It was really easy to meet people.
