This hotel obviously has low self-esteem! It's not as bad as it makes out! Good location in Amsterdam and basic fit-for-purpose rooms! And there's an awesome burger cafe right down the road and a bike tour company almost opposite!

Great place to sleepover and take a a tour round Amsterdam, to find new friends round the world in your room :) close to city centar and other sights worth seeing, i were there for New years eve in 2009 and that winter was one of the coldest in Holland but warming in the room was excellent :)

Came here on a topdeck tour. Heard a lot of things about the Hans Brinker, but it's actually pretty good. It markets itself as a budget hostel and that's what it is. The beds were comfortable, the doona was warm. The room was basic with just beds and lockers, but that's all I wanted. The room was a little bit...

they don't state that they're good; but with their great location of being close to many popular attractions, and a large sociable area, bar and even a club- you can't go wrong. breakfast making your stay cheaper. Rooms aren't the best quality- but you get what you pay for! Great quality for price!

After reading the reviews I was expecting some very bad things at this place but I was pleasantly surprised! Let's be clear though, this is a budget hotel, possibly the most budget hotel I've ever stayed in, but budget and bad aren't synonymous. You won't get an luxuries here but for the price you pay, what do you expect? The...

Went to the hostel as part of a University trip. The hostel had all the essentials, the room was a decent size and the bunk beds were comfortable. The hostel were very tolerant as we were a big party and used the main room for drinking before going out.

I stayed here for a university trip. If you're with people you know and spend time with, it's average. The main 'dinning' area is quite large and consist of giant tables where you go and pay for Breakfast in the mornings and Dinner in the evenings. I got terrible prison vibes from the experience. queuing up as if you are...

The staff at this hostel was not helpful one bit. Every time I would ask them a question they either did not know the answer or gave me such a vague answer that was no help at all. On top of that, they need to communicate more with the rest of the staff as they sent us to a dirty...

Stayed here with Topdeck and had been prepared for the worst but were surprised! Although it's dark and crowded, it was value for what we had paid. Great location, free wifi and good communal spaces..

This place is marketed as the worst hostel. This immediately lowers your expectations which is good. The rooms were small and nothing special. The bathrooms in the rooms were pathetic. The shower was the biggest joke. It flooded the bathroom every time the shower was used. And it just shot water into your face. My partner had to take the...
