It took us over two hours to find this hotel, it is not located on the main tram line as indicated, but rather round the corner. The staff were not very friendly to us, and we were grunted at in acknowledgement from the blond lady at the desk with the tattoo of writings on her wrist. The room was like...

For starters do not attempt to walk here, especially after visiting a coffee shop, it is around 40 minutes walk away! Put it this way, we saw a LOT of Amsterdam by foot. The number 25 tram does stop just outside though but the trams stop fairly early. Avoid taxis as they are around 40 euros but the cycle- rickshaws...

Easy hotel is by and large as expected: a clean (small) room, a (small) and clean shower, in a location that is neither wonderful nor horrible. You really get what you pay for. The only criticism that I have is the lack of storage in the room. A tiny, tiny shelf, a solid contraption with a single immovable kind of...

Dear Sir_Top-Hat, Thank you very much for your feedback at Tripadvisor! We find that adding any additional furniture for extra storage to our rooms leads to it being too cluttered for the rooms to be comfortable; however, we will take your idea of more storage room into consideration. This certainly does not detract from any inconvenience caused. We hope to...

i work in amsterdam and sometimes i work late and stay over. since i only use the hotel to sleep it doesn't have to be a fancy hotel with a restaurant and a bar. a plain room with a good bed and shower is enough for me. easyhotel offers that for a good rate. don't expect more from it :)

I'm a very regular business traveller and I like my hotel no-frills. I just want a night's rest. That's what appeals to me in the EasyHotel concept: clean, no-nonsense and pay-what-you-use. And that means for a location close to the city center, it is plain cheap. And for many travellers, this might just be the hotel. But, as a business...

Easy Hotel is not in the heart of the canals but the transit in Amsterdam is really easy to understand and a 3 day pass is quite cheap compared to other cities in Europe. Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
