My sister and daughter had a room for three in this hotel. It was a good arrangement for us with a queen size and a twin size bed which was separated from us somewhat by a partial wall. The beds are very comfortable. There is a wonderful espresso machine in the room, a small refrigerator and a safe. The bathroom is small but it has a very good shower. There is no closet or dresser which makes it a challege for three women to stay for 5 days but we managed by juggling our suitcases around and using the small areas in the lobby for gathering and planning. The room we were in was in the back and very quiet. If you want to ride the canal boat, it's right across the street and a grocery story is nearby. The location is right by the museum quarter and the Metro and the train stops are a short walk.…
While the double room was tiny even by European standards, the price makes this hotel a great value given the fact that the price was much lower than most nearby hotels. Clean, comfortable bed, air conditioned, hip decor, and an outstanding location if you like to explore Amsterdam beyond the red light district. Probably best for a shorter stay.
We stayed here for a weekend trip and loved our stay. The rooms as small but comfortable and clean and the whole vibe of the place is great. It’s only a short tram stop away from the centre, ideal if you don’t want to stay in noisy hostel but still be a stones throw from the action!
Very pleasant stay with cosy comfortable room, reasonably quiet outside at night time. Like I said earlier it would have been of great help if we had been able to contact a member of staff when we left at 4 am
Hotel in the centre but away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Rooms not large but very clean with everything you need. Little space to put your clothes away but all in all a good option for a few days
This is a great hotel, five mins walk from Leidesplein. Well cared for historic property, great decor and friendly staff. The standard double room is v small (due to the good sized bed) so upgrade if there are two of you. We stayed one night which was just about doable, but we would go for a bigger room if in town for longer.
The ED is a very nice small hotel with a great location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us locate a Covid-19 testing clinic, which we needed for our travels. Their breakfast was excellent.
Clean room and comfortable bed. Refrigerator is little but convenient. Nice hot showers.close to Liedseplien and Vondel Park. Very short tram ride to museums district and about twenty minutes from Amsterdam Centraal Station.
Just back home from a short city break in Amsterdam. The Ed is a great base near to the Museum Quarter and a short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. Airport Express bus 397 drops you near to the hotel so ideally placed Rooms are small and quirky but have everything you need. Ours was especially compact but no complaints. Bed and pillows are super comfortable. Love the Ed cushion! Buffet breakfast was good with reasonable choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Nice and Friendly Hotel in a good Location. Tram and Bus Station near by. The breakfast welcomes you with a lot of different options. Many Supermarktes are in direct sight. All over a very good decision for a couple of days.
