We didn't expect too much from this budget hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the pretty frontage, the cosy bar, substantial breakfast, and funny, helpful staff. Our two rooms (one basement, one second floor) were basic but clean and comfortable. Early morning street noise was...More

At an average of 90-100 euros a night this hotel is an excellent value. The location is nice, just near Leidseplein on a quiet street. You have easy access to buses and trams. Museumplein is within easy walking distance. The rooms are basic, but not...More

This hotel was good for a weekend break. The rooms are small but clean. Staff are efficient and fairly pleasant. The breakfast is a continental buffet, nothing amazing but more than adequate. I would stay there again. Not much else to say really - it's...More

I agree with the previous post. It is a short, pleasant walk to the hotel, and is halfway down the street from the Marriott. Because the Marriott is quite tall, it is a very helpful landmark.

Yes, the 197 to Leidseplein, cross to the opposite side of the street after you get off the bus and it is perhaps a 3 minute walk.

The Connexxion airport express bus is the cheapest €5 each and stops just round the corner from the hotel. We used it to get back to the airport .
