The photos on the hotel site don't show the grubbiness of the hotel. Our rooms were very grubby, marked walls and scratches. Substandard this towel..1 hand towel for 2 persons. The hotel felt more like a hostel. Very steep shallow steps to all floors - no lifts. The corridors again very grubby and scuffed up marks everywere, threadbare carpets with... More

-We paid $464 (CAD) for three nights which is very fair in the Amsterdam area. -Room had no windows and resembled a bomb shelter -Hotel may run on septic because water smells like human farts, wasn't very welcoming when you would walk in or open the bathroom door. -Bathroom makes loud grumbling noise when you or other hotel guests run... This hotel is 'adequate'. Trouble is it charges for 'very good'. And you have to pay in advance. The bed was comfortable. Apart from a convenient location, that's about the best you could say about this hotel. Our rooms we on the third floor, up the steepest stairs we have ever encountered in a hotel, the carpets in the stairwell... More

I had changed the booking so we had an early check in but on arrival I was told that we hadn't requested an early check in, even when I showed the email confirmation the hotel staff was still reluctant to believe me. We were then left waiting for our room for a couple of hours. We were giving a room... More

After paying not much for a triple room, we didn't expect much but arrived to a clean room overlooking the street with a small balcony. It appears quite far away from the city centre but only takes around 20 min. It's really close to one of the main party squares and vondelpark (about 5 minutes). Friendly staff as well; let... More

- The location of this hotel is good, a lot of food places are walking distance but would be easier to get a tram to the centre... - Hotel facilities were fine, you get what you pay for essentially. - Staff were friendly and helpful with all queries, especially when looking for certain sites. - Wifi was pretty good.

If your looking for a no frills hotel somewhere to sleep and get a shower this is great. It's about a 25 minute walk to all the main areas of the city. If you fancy some quite time away from all the hustle you have Vondelpark right on your door step. The rooms were basic but clean with maid service... More

A very good hotel if you are on a budget .friendly staff and although not right in central Amsterdam it's a short tram ride to the city centre ...I'd recommend it if you are looking for just a place to crash out after a days sightseeing or a night on the town

The hotel is in a nice location, right next to Vondelprk which is a 5-10 minute walk from Van Gogh museum. The beds were really comfortable and the staff was nice. They had a TV in the room but there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. You can order them from downstairs. We had a bathroom in our room... More

as we walked in at 23:40 p.m. we were welcomed by a discussion between a client and the night guard as the room booked months ago was occupied, the staff was doing noting to solve their problem, the night guard tried to call the manager that was sleaping and not piking up the phone, so the guests had to find...
