Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights/4 days with my boyfriend in mid June. The hotel was gorgeous, very clean and had comfortable beds. Location was good, there was a bus stop less than 2 mins from the hotel that went straight from the hotel...More
My wife and I loved our five days at this lovely hotel. All of the staff seemed happy to work there and happy to help their guests. The breakfast was great. This location is relatively quiet, which suited us well. We were in easy walking...More
There were several good points during our stay, including the free water, nice bar/lounge area, free wifi, good location. Unfortunately, the room was incredibly hot, even with the window open (which allowed us to hear loud conversations from the park). The room was also very...More
Stayed 3 nights. Location was good easy access to the centre by tram. Hotel lobby very inviting despite the mouse running around. Did complain but staff not that bothered. Room though clean was tired and dated shabby curtains. No tea and coffee facilities. Pillow was...More
I booked to stay at Hotel Piet Hein for two nights, for my boyfriends 30th birthday. Whilst the hotel lobby area was beautiful, every other aspect of our stay was a let down.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Regarding transportation to and from the airport, we used Bus#197 which is easily caught right outside the airport doors. It drops you off about a 7 minute walk from the hotel (about 5 blocks). Very convenient.
