Awesome little hotel, recently renovated and the room we had was great. Nice decor and decent amount of room for a European hotel! Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was really good too, much better than the other Continental breakfasts we have had in other...More
Having spent the day travelling from my residence in the uk, I was expecting to be staying in a nice hotel, considering on how much I paid, how wrong I was!
I found the room to be of extreme poor standard and a distinct smell...More
Very comfortable beds, good value for money, a great location and friendly staff. My daughter and I received a free upgrade from a loft-style economy room to a premium double room, because one was available. Rooms are small, but who needs a big hotel room!...More
Ideal location, friendly and efficient staff, wonderful breakfast.
Clean rooms, a bit small. It would be helpful to have a bit more space to hang or store clothing.
High season rates are a bit steep but that's Amsterdam.
Greeted by lovely staff and given our room. Bit of a mix up over who we'd booked with. We had booked direct with hotel but they said we'd booked with Bookings.com.
The room was lovely clean and overlooking the garden. Very quiet.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Regarding transportation to and from the airport, we used Bus#197 which is easily caught right outside the airport doors. It drops you off about a 7 minute walk from the hotel (about 5 blocks). Very convenient.
