Stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. Greeted by a friendly staff, especially Martain the hotel manager. The room was small but well designed with enough storage for our clothes. The bed was very comfortabe. The hotel is right next to Vondelpark. Where you can...More
We spent 4 nights at the hotel, and enjoyed it very much. The room was small, but clean, cosy, and comfortable. It was just what we needed, since we spent the majority of the time walking around the city.

Our room was lovely, staff very friendly, good breadfast and nicely located for walking around town and exploring the city. Amsterday is a great city to visit and Piet Hein added to our experience. My husband and I had a great time visiting Amsterdam

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Regarding transportation to and from the airport, we used Bus#197 which is easily caught right outside the airport doors. It drops you off about a 7 minute walk from the hotel (about 5 blocks). Very convenient.
