Later another staff member helped print my tickets and extended my stay for another night. VERY HELPFUL people and always with a smile on their faces. Rooms are ok...

If anyone reads this please listen as this reflects in honesty what your stay will be . On arrival we were greeted by the most rudest of people , customer skills were zero to put it politely . We were handed a key and entered a urine stinking lift with stains on every inch , entered the room and it...

Stayed for one night, that was enough. Cost 130 euros and the room was terrible. The stairs to the rooms are very steep and the photos advertised do not represent reality. It was dingy there was a stained chair in the corner, the artex walls were dirty the pillows were uncomfortable the bathroom looked tired and squashed in. I opted...

For the price we paid we were very impressed. Great location, nice rooms, friendly and very helpful staff (apart from one lady). The breakfast was overpriced, but nice enough. We'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room was lovely, newly renovated and was a 5-10 minute walk from everything. The staff were lovely and were able to help with all of our needs. The only downside was a 'tourist tax' we were unaware of which we had to pay before our key was given to us. For €160 between 4 people for three nights, cannot...

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
