Wonderful location, near the flower market, and in back of the hotel is Rembrandt Square a great area to dine, sit and relax and enjoy the people. Hotel is very clean and comfortable, on the small side but adequate. The staff was very helpful and friendly, we would definitely stay there again.

If you are in a front of hotel room there will be a lot of traffic/road noise. The staff are extremely nice and greet you on arrival and always say hello or goodbye depending on you coming or going. The restaurant seems popular, however there are more budget concious places very close by.

I've been to the Albus Hotel in September during a brief visit to Amsterdam. The Hotel is really close to the city center and have excellent staff and facilities. The hotel is very close to the Rembrandt square and nearby there are a lot of places where eat something and grab a drink. Very good also the Senses restaurant.

Modest size room and pricey. Hotel is well located but on a major street with traffic and trams running 24 hours and has no air conditioning. On a warm night the noise was very loud if you have a front room. Should have known there is a problem when we found two sets of ear plugs on the counter. Look... More

I like this hotel; very comfortable and nice, the one thing I didnt like is that its not allowed to bring weed into the room - I'm not talking about smoking, just about holding. But except that, excellent.

During our recent stay (Sept. 27 -29/14) at the Albus we were pleasantly greater by Sofia. Sofia energetic personality made us feel welcomed to the Albus. Sofia was very knowledgable about Amsterdam and also assured us that we would have a pleasant stay. The Albus is located in the heart of Amsterdam's amazing shopping district, flower market and many restaurants.... More

This is a very trendy hotel with nice rooms but we got a terrible night's sleep as a result of the noise outside our 3rd floor window all night long. Construction is going on across the street and they started at 6:00 a.m., which didn't help.

I've stayed at this Hotel a few times now. Its affordable, with decent rooms, friendly helpful staff and a perfect location. Very close to the flower markets and the shops on Kalverstraat. Plenty of places to eat and grab a dink nearby as well, in Rembrandt Square. My husband and I also had dinner at Senses, the restaurant at the... More

This is a small hotel that feels like a family concern. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is centrally located. It is an easy walk to most parts of Amsterdam. I did not recall being bothered by any noise.
