My partner and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. Perfect location for exploring Amsterdam on foot. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We initially had a room at the front of the hotel which faced out on to the road which was particularly noisy; however, on speaking to staff about this, we were swiftly moved to another room at the... Staff friendly, and a good Base to see Amsterdam, Accommodation was good, room was little bit small but considering the architecture of buildings in Amsterdam we were happy with it. A good variety on offer for breakfast, Amsterdam in general beware of bicycles. You are more likely to be hit by a bike 🚲 than a car or tram. Not... More

Modern design hotel with great location in the middle of everything. Reception is friendly and helpful. Rooms are stylish but rather small, bathroom rather old. Knowing Amsterdams hotel situation and prices: this is one of the best what you can get for reasonable price.

The location is excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. the room was small but the bed comfortable The biggest downside is that it has no airconditioning. During my stay it was terribly warm and the room had only a fan. It was a torture.

This hotel had the nicest people working there. Every shift. They were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. We walked everywhere. To Central station to the Van Gogh museum. Lot's of eating places near by as well.

This hotel overbooked and moved us to an "equivalent" hotel. However, they moved us near the train station in a not-so equivalent hotel. Albus is in the very center of Amsterdam and a boutique hotel, so I don't know why they consider a hotel far from the center and in a huge chain hotel as equivalent. The worst part, I... More

hello precious guest, Thank you very much for sharing your honest feedback. I am extremely sorry for your experience. Unfortunately we faced a system malfunction last weekend which resulted in the unfortunate situation that we had to disappoint you and another guest and transfer both reservations to another hotel. We carefully selected a well known 4 star hotel to accommodate... More

I came to this hotel at 22.00 on Sunday night to find out that my room had been given away, the hotel had been overbooked, and they had no rooms left for me. Note that my room was fully guaranteed by my credit card, and that it had already been charged to my card at six o'clock (!) They claim... More

Hello valuable guest, Thank you for sharing your experience. I am extremely sorry for what happened to you last Sunday. I really wish we could have accommodated you here instead of transferring you to another hotel. This has absolutely nothing to do with the length of your stay, but with a system malfunction as you mention in your review. I... More

This hotel was a bit run-down (worn carpets and wallpaper) but the bed was comfortable. However, this hotel had NO air-conditioning and it was unusually hot (high 80s F or about 30C) during my stay. A small fan in the room provided little relief. My tiny room was in a little alcove under the roof. A photo of the stairs... More

A surprisingly nice hotel which was well located for eateries nearby. This was booked by a client so no choice for me but to go. It is a really nice modern hotel which I would recommend. One comment is it has no AC. It has a funky fan though and although very hot it was not too bad in the... More

My wife and I stay here for 2 days to explore Amsterdam. For that the hotel is located perfectly. All the must see things in Amsterdam is within 2-3 kilometers, so we walked everywhere. This is also a great way to so Amsterdam, so I can only recommend doing the same. But as other reviewers mention, it is not airconditioned... More
