This boutique hotel is very quirky and charming. It also has a theatre (although there were no performances on during our stay). It has an impressive courtyard where you can sit and have a drink on a warm and sunny day. The staff were very helpful and informative. Our twin bedded room was compact but perfectly adequate, with tea/coffee making... More

Excellent location close to the Museumplein and trams, while still being on a quiet street. Rooms were quaint and well-appointed, including safe and small refrigerator. The staff were very helpful with from lending us umbrellas in the rain, to providing a vase for our flower purchase. Elegant breakfast room with a good selection of foods and self-serve espresso machine.

The warmth of your staff and the beauty of your historic property made our stay special and that it was so close to public transportation was an added bonus. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with more options to choose from then we could possibly decide on. Loved the espresso machine and the beautiful gardens too! Kind Regards, Jane M -... More

We visited Amsterdam for the first time and loved this hotel! near the De Pijp neighborhood with lots of awesome restaurants and stores, it was less touristic than the center of Amsterdam. We were able to rent bikes from the hotel and it worked out great. The room was beautiful and the hotel took great care of us.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great base to explore the city. Everywhere was within walking distance and the road the hotel is situated in was very pleasant, lots of trees. Very nice shopping area if you go to the top of the road and turn right. Everywhere was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, smart... More

Really enjoyed our break. Complimentary upgrade on an arrival and lovely, clean room overlooking the hotel gardens. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were really knowledgeable as well which really helped. Located in walking distance of Van Gogh and Diamond museums and then a short tram ride to everything else. You get to take a step away... More

I visited Amsterdam in April 2016. Apollofirst Hotel was great. I had a very big room because I traveled with our one year old baby and they put a baby bad in our Room. We didn't had breakfast included but all the people from the reception allow us to take warm eggs or fruits in the morning for the baby.... More

Have been there 3 times already on business trips and honestly speaking will not get back . The place, service and people look "tired". The bed sheets were not clean, the tissue paper holder in bath had 2 single paper pieces remaining , and the add on/ replacement of the shower gel and shampoo happened only after my request .... My parents stayed at this hotel recently but had to cut their holiday short due to my father's ill health. They praised all the staff but Erwin in particular - he could not have been more helpful. He booked their flights home and, since their return, has organised a refund of a tour they had booked with a third party.... More
