This is great little boutique hotel which, for Amsterdam, is quite reasonably priced. Rooms are bright, fairly spacious and immaculate. The property is located in south Amsterdam and conveniently located for transit. This hotel has a small dinner theatre - unfortunately there were no shows playing when we stayed there. The staff are polite, well trained and helpful. There is a... More

Located on Apollolaan street which offers beatiful landscaping and trees making location quiet and pleasant. Rooms are not big but comfortable, there is a nice restaurant and it si well connected with the museum quarter.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Very cosy in winter and with great beds. The staff at reception were very obliging. They even lent us an adaptor for the duration of our visit. The bar is very pleasant for an evening drink. An earlier trip advisor comment suggested taking the train from Schipol to the Zuid station,... More

We were surprised by the excellent quality of this small and friendly hotel. The rooms were a little on the small side but the furnishings were of a high quality and the rooms kept very clean. We had rooms at the back of the hotel on the third floor which were very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast but there were a couple of things that disappointed me esp for the price we paid: 1. I asked for a double bed in my booking but we got two twins stuck together. It was very uncomfortable. I raised it with the guy at reception the next morning who was quite defensive and asked... This is in a quiet area closer to the Van Gogh museum and park. Between the park and hotel there are many spots to dine. Great if you are walking. The team is only two signals away The lift is small and the rooms are larger than most. Upscale decor and bath and the bed is delicious. Wifi is free... More

I was there four nights, sleeping very well in a clean and silent room looking to the garden, with several pillows and a really fast Wi-Fi. The breakfast was full of several croissants, breads, marmalades and also cheeses and fruit juices. The hotel is close to the RAI centre and 10 min with tram from the Dam square. To go... More

Apollofirst is located in a much less bustling area of Amsterdam yet right on the #5 & #24 tram routes. There's a nice park featuring artistic statues directly in front and lots of residential buildings in the area. The staff was so nice. We were greeted with suggestions of where to go during our 2-night stay and also offered a... More
