Our week-long stay was actually in October, 2019. The room overlooking the Amstel Canal was stylish and comfortable. The staff was most helpful in many ways. The daily sit-down breakfast, white table cloth and all, was exceptional. Easily walked to the Flower Market just up the street and the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museums. It made our trip from New Mexico a fond memory we often revisit in conversation.
We stayed here in October for a few days and had a wonderful stay. It has a great location and the staff were really friendly. The Covid-19 safety measures were well thought of without making our stay unpleasant - check in/check out is done via an easy self-service machine (with staff there to welcome us and help as well) and breakfast was served in time slots to allow for distancing. The room was beautiful and clean, with nice additional touches (welcome bag and toiletries) and we slept well throughout our trip. There is also a 24-hour mini-supermarket in the foyer in lieu of a mini bar - this came in handy with the new 10pm curfew!
We stayed here in March for 3 nights. The hotel is in the centre of of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and right round the corner from the Ice Bar. The hotel is clean, and the staff are very polite and can’t do enough for you. The room is equipped with an en suite, iron, coffee machine and air con/heater. 100% would stay again.
We booked this hotel through Expedia in February pre Covid. They have very kindly let us change our booking until next year even though on Expedia it states no refunds or booking changes. They have been very understanding of the current travelling climate and we can’t wait to go here next year. My friend has stayed here as she says it’s lovely with a perfect location. we booked this hotel in good faith in January 2020. Flybe had just announced a new route from Newquay airport - very local too us, and the flight times were perfect. 3 weeks later Flybe went bust ( so nothing to do with Covid pandemic). This hotel has refused point blank to help us. If you are unsure in anyway - DO NOT BOOK
