Travelers' Choice
The views of the Amstel River and the accommodations are so lovely that you may never want to leave. Staying incredible 4-star Eden Hotel Amsterdam, renovated in 2021, is a guarantee of happiness. All of the attractions for which you came to Amsterdam may be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. However, with such a wide range of restaurants, a 24-hour food market, and a true Tokyo-style listen bar, you would not need to leave the hotel to enjoy Amsterdam’s vibrant city life.

What a beautiful place! Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival made us feel at ease. There was an issue with our book upgrade (a standard double) and been upgraded to a superior double, that was so kind!! The room was beautiful and comfortable, big window to let fresh air in the room, although not with a view (we didn't care because we didn't go to Amsterdam to be in a hotel room). Beautiful bed and pillows, beautiful towels, big TV, Nespresso coffee machine, everything great! And very quiet for a good sleep too! Breakfast was amazing!! All what you could possibly ask for was there, outstanding quality too.. Love the coffee cups and plates, not the standard whiten ones, but the style that looks like pottery, so charming. Pizza oven was such a hit for us! We loved how convenient it was, same the little market for last minute bites or drinks. We do absolutely recommend this hotel for its location too! it can't be any better, service and facilities. We felt at home, thanks so much!!

The Eden Hotel was ideally located overlooking a canal in Amsterdam and walking distance to the city attractions. It was also conveniently located close to a Metro station which made getting there from the airport more manageable. The room was clean with updated bathroom and good A/C. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable as well. Our room on the street level was quite eccentric with wild wallpaper and design, however our friends had another room that was more traditional. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel restaurant as we felt that it was quite pricey.

Well located on the Amstel, in a walking distance to just everywhere. 5 mins walk from transportation and the bars and restaurants of Rembrandtplein, but also walking distance north up to Dam and central station. Hotel is very nice and well-organized; room has all you need and more. On my arrival I have discovered I forgot my toothbrush and until getting a new one, staff was kind and quick to arrange me a kit with all I needed. Highly recommended, and will definitely return.

Located on the Amstel Canal this hotel is near to everythihg. Room was comfortable, not large, so luggage was in the way. however staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. The hot food selection was limited with the choice of scrambled or boiled eggs bacon and sausages. Excellent value for money. We would definately consider staying again.

Hotel in the centre of Amsterdam right on the canal and close to Rembrant Square. Our room on the 5th floor was clean, quiet and comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam.

I Iove to come to Asterdam, and always stay at the Eden. For its perfect City Centre location for exploring Amsterdam, right by the River and Rembrandstsplein, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms refurbished to a very high standard, very comfortable beds.In fact everything. I can't think of anything I don't like about the Lovely Hotel. Thank you Eden. Will be staying again next year.

Very very pleased with this hotel on the canal. If we ever return to Amsterdam, we will look to book this hotel again. The staff was very helpful and accommodating; the breakfast was fantastic; the beds and room were very clean and comfortable; the location was perfect in that anywhere we walked took us only 20 or so minutes to get to; and the view of the Amstel Canal was soothing to our eyes as we woke up each morning while drinking our coffee. We left very satisfied knowing we made a wise choice with our money. Thank you, Eden Hotel Amsterdam. Cheers.

My partner and I stayed at the Eden hotel from 2nd Sept until 5th Sept while in Amsterdam for the Formula 1. The hotel is lovely & modern with a restaurant, bar & self service shop (I will say the shop is much more expensive than supermarket prices but very handy for anything you might want or need last minute). When we checked in we went straight for the self service check in screen but a nice gentleman came over straight away & assisted us as we were too early for our check in. They managed to find us another room so we could check in early as ours wasn’t ready yet! Our room faced one of the lanes down the side of the hotel & was quite noisy at night especially on the Friday night however the room was very clean & comfortable. The bed was very comfortable & added bonus of AC was a great help after being out in the sun all day! Location is also great, less than 10 minute tram journey to Amsterdam Central & there is a square with many pubs, cafes & restaurants right next to hotel. We would definitely recommend The Eden Hotel & come back in future!

A great little hotel where we felt welcome from the start. Started with self check -in which was the first time we had used this, but was self-explanatory and easy to use. Rooms small but very clean and functional and unusual decor. Plenty of toiletries provided. Bed was very comfy and there is a pillow menu . Drapes kept out the light very well and we slept a bit later than we would have at home which was nice . Breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold food to suit all. You will never go hungry here as there is an on site convenience store and a food station where you can cook pizza and toasted sandwiches . Somebody mentioned in s review that bottled water could be provided daily instead of once , I would disagree , as there is a water refill station in the front of the hotel .We brought our own refillable bottles so this worked perfectly (there are also water stations located all over Amsterdam ) The robot worked hard all through breakfast and was a talking point amongst the guests every morning !!! The location was perfect for everything we wanted . We were able to walk up to the Ann Frank house and old part and to the museum quarter where we spent most of our time visiting Rijks , Van Gogh and Moco Museums . Staff friendly and helpful . Would recommend a stay here if you are visiting for sight-seeing .

First time in this hotel and as my title it's in a very good location. The hotel it's self, no a fan of self book ins, why not just have someone on reception to book customers in, especially as the person at reception was having to show everyone what to do. The room was a decent size but the lowest the air con could go down to was 19 degrees, to hot for my liking, had trouble trying to get dried after shower because of the room temperature, opened window, didn't help, asked for a fan either didn't understand me or just ignored me. The plus side for me was the breakfast, everything really tasty and a great selection.
