Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Staff is nice, courteous and helpful but it doesn't get much further. Considering the price of the room expectations fell short. Wall paper in my room was getting off along seams, the bathroom I didn't like at all. Shower faucet feels cheap and weird to adjust to desired

After a cancelled flight, my husband and I were taken to this hotel by shuttle bus on the 22 December 2018. On arrival, it was very late we were given a ‘lunch box’ and were given room 506. The bedroom was a very good size with wall mounted TV, a mirror, light, long dressing

A fan of the location, size of the room and service provided. I also recommend the buffet breakfast. Rooms also have a Nespresso machine and large closet space. Nespresso pods are replenished daily. Centrally located.

I didn’t feel the price matched quality of the room or amenities hotel provided. Also, staff members were to busy talking to other team members and not being present for the guest. Overall I am displeased with the experience received at the hotel.

There are many cheaper alternatives in Amsterdam but you know what you're getting with this hotel. The interior is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The only thing I missed (as I do in most European hotel rooms) is milk for a morning

My wife and I traveled with our daughter and for three people in a room, Radisson required us to book a junior suite or above. The junior suite was an L shaped room were the bedroom was separated from the main room by a tall dresser with a 55 in tv on top. We had a bed that was definitely larger than a double, and if my memory is correct, it was king. The tv will swivel to face a sitting room and the couch in the room opens to a double bed. The room was very comfortable, quiet and modern, but it and the bathroom were on the small side. You can get a better idea of the room layout if you look on the Radisson Blu site. We had an enormous amount of luggage and gear and were fine during our 5 day stay in the room. On a side note, the hotel is in a very good location if your intent is to site see and it is close to a wide variety of restaurants. We were able to walk to all the key attractions in the city. In addition, the breakfast offerings at the hotel were very good and a nice way to start the day.

The nature reserves are indeed a bit outside of the city which doesn't have to be a problem as the hotel is within a 10 min walk of the central station and public transport will take you easily to those places. For example nature reserve 'De kennemerduinen' is easy to reach by train via Haarlem, take train to Zandvoort (beach side place) and get out in Overveen. After this you can visit the beach and go there for a bite. The most famous is probably 'De hoge veluwe' hogeveluwe.nl/en On their website you can find how to get there and how to get a guide if you need that! This will be an hour or so by train. Enjoy!
