My son and i spent 3 nights at this hotel in November of this year. When checking in we were asked for 150euro deposit, from credit card. I had a laser card and entered my pin no for 150euro. The girl i was dealing with said "This is'nt a credit card' so i offered cash and paid another 150 euro...

From the Central Station in Amsterdam it cost $25 Euros to get to the NH Tropen in Amsterdam. If you look at a map of Amsterdam the hotel is right next to the Tropen Museum. However, it's a 15-20 minute tram ride to get to the City Center. This was too far from the center of Amsterdam activity to me...

I stayed here on business mid-November. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to advise on public transport routes and walking distances. Located next to the Tropen museum, it doesn't look great on the outside, but inside its very nice. It was spotlessly clean, the rooms were modern and I had a room with a...

We paid €150 but had a nice park facing room. This is perhaps 2-3km from city but a lovely area near the zoo. Staff were friendly and we just stayed around the area as there were nice restaurants 200metres away. We will go again.

NH Tropen was perfect for our 3 day stay in Amsterdam. Rooms were comfortable & always kept clean. Breakfast was included when we booked & it was very good, lots of choice. Didn't have much interaction with the staff during our stay but those we seen were pleasent enough. The hotel is not situated in the main city centre but...

Although this hotel is not located in the absolute center of Amsterdam, it is very well situated near a beautiful park. Parking is available. The building itself is not beautiful, but it is clean and functional. The breakfast room is nice, and there is a great selection. Across the street from the hotel is a tram line, and so getting...
