Good value hotel well located quite close to Van Gogh museum, short walk to Central station. I got buffet breakfast included in room price. Had a room on 3rd floor that overlooked a very small inner courtyard. his is defiantly not a 5 star hotel, but great value for the location...

Having been to Amsterdam many times, we had spotted this hotel on our last visit and decided to try it out as its location is absolutely perfect for Dam Square and our favourite haunts. We stayed here early November 2012 for a 'big' birthday - and we had 6 twin/double rooms booked. As it was my birthday they had upgraded...

A buddy and myself stayed at this hotel for a week in Sept 2012. We stayed in two different 2 bed rooms and found them both comfortable, resonably spacious and clean. The hotel location is good, near the Dam Square, main train station, lots of pubs, bike rentals, transit and resturants not to mention the many smoke cafe's close by.....

I stayed at the Best Western Dam Square in September 2012, for a long weekend. We were given a nice room overlooking the alleyway leading to Dam Square. The Best Western is tucked away in a side street off Dam Square -TIP: look out for H&M and go up that side street, then turn into the first street on the...

The location is great.if you are in Amsterdam for a good time this is a great spot to shack up for the money.the rooms and bathroom are quite small.but that seems the norm.they dont seem to overdo everything like us greedy americans.anyway everything you want to go out and do is within 200 feet.eat, drink and smoke at a arms reach.be...

We had great difficulty locating this hotel. I found this a basic but comfortable hotel. We had a four person room book which was perfect for us and I believe there are a few rooms that cater for large parties. The bathroom was spacious and the shower wonderful after traipsing around the city. Very close to Dam square, which is...

Advertising this as being Dam Square us a trifle misleading. It's close but tucked down a tiny side street so get a detailed map to find it. The comfortable hotel is in a good location has good sized rooms with a quirky bathroom which you might have to negotiate sideways (room 332). What made my stay was the receptionist whose...

we stayed for a week in this hotel. The location of the hotel is great, very close to Dam square (less than a minute walk) but still away from the madness of the Dam (just off the square - very quite). The staff is very helpful and the rooms were clean although not large but the bathroom was good sized...

We stayed for one night in Amsterdam and had a big to do list. Close distance to all the sights of Amsterdam and 2 min walk to the square. Great room, lovely king bed and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast and they were happy to store our bags. We walked from the train station, about 15 minutes walk.

The room are clean and well presented, we had a mixture of rooms some twin rooms some double rooms and some triple rooms all great. The location of this hotel is fabulous, right in the centre. Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
