REDEFINING LUXURY AND TIME INK Hotel Amsterdam redefines luxury into the freedom of time. The hotel is build upon local heritage, as it was formerly known as the headquarters of newspaper “De Tijd”. ‘Time’ is the signature of INK Hotel Amsterdam and has ruled the design of the hotel. The hotel living room, once the place where stories were written and printed, will now turn into the F&B concept. This hotel will boast a unique food concept and iconic bar with a convivial cast offering high-end cocktails. At INK Hotel Amsterdam YOU define your time: whether you work, play or sleep. INK STORY INK Hotel Amsterdam houses a rich history. Formerly the building was functioning as the headquarters of the Dutch newspaper “De Tijd” from 1904 to 1986. This illustrious past has been translated into the modern boutique design made by Concrete Architects. In the design you will discover different and surprising elements, all relating to its past. Time is the new luxury: the time to read in the pressroom; the time to write, to draw, to discover, to smile at others, to socialise, to share, to enjoy... endlessly. INK HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM INK Hotel Amsterdam will be the perfect place to stay, work, play and relax. Its location in the center of Amsterdam is ideal for visiting the city. It is a five-minute walk from Central Station, situated next to Dam Square. From the moment you enter, the hotel will show it’s characteristic design. A small square, in the midst of the hotel shows the original state of the canal houses. As one of the few, this hotel will have her own courtyard. Inspired by the past, the hotel plays with the hectic energy of a pressroom. The F&B concept will offer a unique all-day food and drink concept. There is a garden room that offers meeting facilities and private dinning. The hotel has 149 rooms, including 4 Suites, each personalised with their own story. INK Hotel Amsterdam is part of the MGallery collection.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Yes, the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is a true 5-star, but you’ll really pay for all of those stars. The INK’s rooms can be reserved for a much more reasonable price. While you can get a very small room in the INK, that is common in Amsterdam, you can also get a comfortable

Are there any rooms with balconies?
Dear Illakk03, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have rooms with balconies which you can use. They only have a decorative purpose! However, no need to feel claustrophobic, in all the rooms you can open the window! Thank you again and if you have any further questions ,please let me know! Kind regards, Jolanda S. General Manager

Are the bathrooms all open to the rest of the room? Would there be sufficient privacy if sharing a room? Thank you!
In the room we stayed in, there was a closed door for the toilet. The sink to wash your hands was open but it seemed fine for privacy.

The wash basin is open to the rest of the room. The shower and WC does have doors but would be difficult for someone who is modest to use if thats your concern. Its all of a very high standard

The train to centraal station is the fastest way , with or without luggage. By far the best cost option.

"Book ahead. Yr room is merely yr bedroom here. Lots of places to explore to rest relax, socialise, work. Just like at home."
"You NEED a skylight window. Not sure how many of the rooms have these."
"Ask to stay on a higher floor"
"i like the rooms with the view to the main street, can be a bit noisy so 4 floor is best"
"If you have 2 or more cases check the room sizes.Otherwise you will spend most of your time tripping over your cases."
