I would say that this hotel is great for its price, great staff and service. The only comment I have is that the room and bathroom are one, not separated. The best perk about the hotel is its location, right in front of the Holland Casino, and it is a walking distance to Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. You don't... More

Me and my girlfriend checked in 29th Jan for a 3 night stay for my birthday. Excellent location, hotel was immaculate, the staff were very pleasant and it has excellent transport links close by. The only issue I have is the deposit we were required to front upon arrival, £300 or €150 by credit card. I gave authorisation on my... More

Stayed at the Park hotel with my fiancé for my birthday. Really enjoyed my stay there. The room was very nice and clean, even got upgraded when checking in :). It's very close to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gough museum etc. Also close to shops, bars and restaurant. We also had dinner at the MOMO's restaurant. Food was lovely but expensive.... More

Spend one night in this hotel for business. Arriving by car, it's quite easy to access from the south. there is a private parking….a bit pricey… 65 euros for one night…but convenient. Reception desk friendly and I have been upgrade to a superior room. The view on the canal and Hard Rock Café. The hotel is located walking distance from... More

We arrived at the hotel around midday, but were promptly turned away without investigation and told that none of the rooms were ready until 3pm- some hotels would have looked into this and accommodated where possible, but then we were only paying four star prices… During a somewhat lengthy check in I mentioned that it was our anniversary and was... I was staying here with a group and I had a pretty good experience with my room. The room was nice, both my roommate and I enjoyed it for the course of our stay. The beds felt a bit odd (too flexible, maybe not a traditional mattress) when I first got into bed, but I slept fine. The temperature in... More

Dear Shannone, Thank you for sharing your experience at the Park Hotel here on TripAdvisor. How nice you visited us with a big group! It is true we have some different roomtypes and because a part of our hotel is located in a historical building, some of the rooms have a different feel and look. Also I would like to... More

Park Hotel is brilliant. Me and my 3 friends stayed for two nights in the superior suits. The rooms are extremely tidy, very trendy, ideal for business or pleasure. I wouldn't recommend the suits if you're body conscious or embarrassed to undress infront of your friend, there's no where to change and the shower doors are almost transparent. The two... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
