    Have a wonderful 5 nights stay in Marriott Amsterdam, which make us feel home and comfortable... But really appreciated the upgraded to Junior Suite, which is equally good... Used apps to check-in, when i arrived hotel at 2pm, my room was ready and the reception staff was expecting us... This hotel is running full house with high occupancy but it was well manned with enough staff from check-in, lounge to house-keeping... And hotel also in great location... After stay 5 nights in Marriott Amsterdam, i stayed 2 nights in W Amsterdam...

Jose changed my room at 11:30 pm as I refused to stay in a dirty room to only find out that the charging ports (all 3) were not working at the bedside... Spend more and stay at a better place...

Asking about the number of Executive Rooms I learned, that everybody can buy access for a surcharge... That means the lounge is completely useless for us as we like to come back to relax... Next time we will not book Executive room, as it‘s a waste of money... Rooms are standard rooms anyway, I would have lounge access being Platinum and we do not feel well there...

    ...In spite of being extremely busy during the last few days of the Rijksmuseum Vermeer exhibit, the service was always attentive, personalized and professional. Staff remembered my name when greeting me and made me feel appreciated as a guest... Vicky, Panos and Isaiah at the front desk and Claudio, the engineer, were particularly helpful... Marriott has unfortunately been removing desks from renovated hotel rooms but staff was very accommodating and provided a portable desk so I could work... The breakfast served in the main restaurant is more elaborate than what was available in the concierge lounge but there was fresh fruit at both facilities... The hotel is very well run and provided a wonderful ten-day home away from home...

    The hotel is in a perfect location and the entire staff is just wonderful. However, the person that made our trip extra special was Mina the concierge... Mina has been trying to find us tickets and today when we got to our room we found the nicest note letting us know that she’s still working on finishing us tickets but in the meantime wanted us to have a Vermeer experience... One entire wall of our room was covered with Vermeer paintings and she even sent us a very nice bottle of wine... Mina has gone above and beyond and we can’t talk about her enough...

    My husband and I loved our stay at the Amsterdam Marriott. Our room on the 11th floor was large and comfortable with access to the M Lounge, which offered a full breakfast, snacks, drinks and happy hour nibbles that could have been dinner... The entire staff was excellent and helpful... A special thank you to the concierge desk, especially Mina and Silvia, who provided excellent advice on restaurants, transportation and outings...

    My husband and I stayed at the Amsterdam Marriott for 5 nights... Our room was clean and updated, although a bit small, with an updated bathroom... The housekeeping staff efficiently cleaned and restocked the room every day... The two best things about this hotel are the staff and the amenities... The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful with any questions we had about touring Amsterdam... The wonderful waitstaff, especially Hang, Imola and Angela, greeted us each morning and were very pleasant and efficient... The hotel also has a small but well stocked gift shop, with nice choices for souvenirs and a very helpful staff... They even took the time to wrap some breakable items that I purchased in bubble wrap so they would safely make the trip home... Overall, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again on a return visit to Amsterdam!...

    ...The concierge staff is multilingual, very informative, provide high-points to visit with maps and information regarding public transportation or taxi service. We were particularly impressed an M-Club staff member named Cootje who could not have been more attentive to our needs and advising on various ethnic restaurants and shops in Amsterdam... She would always make time from her busy schedule to answer our questions... We will certainly return again to the Marriott Hotel for our next visit to Amsterdam...

    ...It’s not the most prettiest of structures, across from the casino but once you can find the entrance on the side street you will enjoy the comfort, hospitality, service and friendliness of the staff that try to make your stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible!!... It was always accommodating and not sorry we can’t!!... Would like to give a shout out and praise to some of the staff that went above and beyond in the 10 days that we stayed there!!... Charles in the lounge and also, the model in the advertisement on elevator was sweet, smiling in a great mood always and willing to answer questions about places, things to do and where to go!!... Mina and Silvia in concierge were helpful with booking trips and advice on where to go and what to see and a bonus if you speak Greek or Spanish!!... Vicky and Lisa greeted us at guest relations and were always smiling and warm in the lounge entrance!!... Ludmilya( dark hair/housekeeping) was excellent at keeping our room stocked, clean and towels plentiful!!... Surprisingly, one day I was standing in line for concierge and a gentleman who was trying to express the line and move it along was come to find out the general manager Jeus, who would of known that the GM takes the time and detail to simply come out and make sure the customers in the queue are being attended to and moving along in the process in the right direction-hands on and involved!!... Please do not overlook this hotel, staff, service and convenience of area!!...

    This was the first time our kids went to Amsterdam, and I am sure Marriott greatly impacted their experience in the city. The hotel and all the staff were very well prepared to receive people from all around the world, as they were for us... Our stay was incredible in all ways, and I would surely consider staying at the same hotel if we go back to the Netherlands... We arrived at the hotel before our check-in, and after having an amazing arrival with all staff helping us with the suitcases, the hotel provided an earlier check-in for us to settle in... Frans, the head bellman, was one of the many people who made our stay in Amsterdam so wonderful... Whenever we needed something, he was there giving us tips about everything... He not only was very helpful throughout our trip, but also very friendly... All nights at the hotel were very memorable, and so was the service in general... Lastly, the breakfast was also very good, and it had a great variety of food, that also included clients with any type of food intolerance...

I asked the front desk where I can buy a not so expensive jacket and Aniel, who works at reception, told me to hold on and immediately went and got me an extra jacket from the back to use while I was sitting there... He saved a lot of money and I was very warm when I went sightseeing...

    The Marriott in Amsterdam proved to be such a valuable home base for our family visit to the city and to the Rijksmuseum in particular... The best part was paying extra for the M Club... The food was excellent in the Club room and the evening food offerings were substantial enough (including delicious thai soup) that no additional dinner was needed... I also liked how the Club room was open 24/7, with snacks and juice/coffee at night... And having a glass of wine in the evenings was a welcome treat...

    This was our second time visiting Amsterdam and the difference a hotel can make is incredible. We arrived at 12:30 and already our rooms were ready... The room overlooks the city center and is the perfect location for a city stay- transport, shops and restaurants are a walk away... Rooms are cleaned every day, the M Lounge offers breakfast and dinner snack options (as a vegan you will not leave on an empty stomach), free drinks and excellent customer service... Already recommended it to friends and family and will be staying here again!...

    The staff gave us a very warm reception which even included waters and chocolate for the time we waited to check-in. The room was superb, we even had a balcony with an amazing view over the city... The M Club Lounge was a nice place to have a snack between main meals... We were right next Vondelpark and had several bus/tram stops at the door which could take us to Central Station in about 15 minutes...

We were having a tough travel day, our flight was cancelled and we needed a short notice room and we’re fortunate to get a room at the Amsterdam Marriott. We needed a pick me up and that’s exactly what we got. Very nice rooms, super clean and efficient hotel. The reason I am giving five stars though was the staff. Everyone we encountered was very helpful and super friendly. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else next time we are in Amsterdam.

Happy to have been able to come back. Quickly greeted when we arrived. Our deluxe room with a king bed was very clean, and very spacious. Hallways were quiet, making it easy to relax before and after going to the Museum Quarter for some of the must stop at sites of Amsterdam. Right across a canal from a large restaurant district. Ask the concierge to help you book the type of food you want, and don't be afraid to take a taxi. Hope to be able to come back and stay again!

Restaurant and Bar. We stay here for work. The Indian bar tender is always very pleasant and helpful. This trip we had breakfast, drinks and dinner at the Sorel’s and Mid Town Grill. Breakfast was wonderful and made special by Hang, such a pleasant wait staff. Dinner was a shared Tomahawk steak 1 kg recommended by a nice Asian waitress was a special off menu item. The hotel location is great, tram stops are just a stone throw away. Plenty eateries nearby, Hard Rock Cafe, Casino, Rijk museum, Van Gogh museum, canal cruises, supermarkets, all are walking distance. We booked a quad room for 3 adults and a 10 year old child. The hotel front desk staffs are accommodating and friendly, not forgetting the staffs at the Midtown Grill, they're Hang, Angela, Imola and especially Selvi. Selvi was very helpful, accommodating, friendly and approachable. I give FIVE STARS rating for her great hospitality!

The property was located just across from the Airport bus stop so it was very convenient to get to from Schipol Airport, which took about 25 minutes around 5 PM on a Sunday. Check in process was quick, staff was very friendly and provided info on the M lounge hours and offers. Stayed in the Deluxe King Room and it was well-appointed. The best part about this hotel is the staff, especially in the M Lounge. Charles was there almost every time we visited for breakfast and afternoon happy hour and he could not be more warm, professional, and courteous! I would not hesitate to book this property next time I am back in Amsterdam.

The Marriott is in the center of Amsterdam. Once you know where the typical sightseeing places are, you can walk easily to them. But there are also many tram stops close by. The personal was super friendly. They welcomed us, offered us water and were very polite and helpful. The room had a nice size, it’s modern but simple. Our room was clean. We stayed at the 7th floor. The bathroom was covered with shampoo and shower gel. We also had slippers in the bathroom. I liked it a lot, just the thought to offer it, is so nice. I liked mostly the little reading corner in the room. As far as the tv, they were different channels from different countries. I guess everyone would find something to watch. My husband is a member so we were able to use the M Club. We loved the breakfast and the open snack bar. They had a very nice selection of food, fresh vegetables and fruits, lots of drinks for everyone. We were very pleasantly surprised that the Marriott had a thanksgiving meal at the snack bar. My husband was happy that he was able to enjoy some turkey. The turkey was delicious. Breakfast was also great. Lots of choices, fresh vegetables and fruits, bread and spreads. The first night I thought the bed was too hard, but it was actually ok. The hotel looks like a normal building from the outside, but we definitely liked the inside. We enjoyed our stay. My husband would have loved to stay longer, but we couldn’t. I read some of the reviews and I don’t agree with the negative reviews. We had a great time and enjoyed the Marriott.

Where to begin, I’ve been coming to the Netherlands (and staying in hotels) for over 50 years. My family lives here. I understand that hotels, especially in Amsterdam, face many challenges as far as size, etc. Typically, we stay at the Renaissance but because of the construction we thought we’d try this Marriott. First, the good, the location by vondelpark and Kalverstraat means few taxis and less walking in the rain. This is great for those traveling with children. Also, we checked in around noon and our room was ready - almost unheard of in Amsterdam. Now the problems, the room is small (which is to be expected) but what I didn’t expect was black mold in all aspects of the bathroom. You could literally smell the mold and it was disgusting. The front door to the room was broken so sometimes we got stuck in the room or the door wouldn’t lock. Not great in this city. The shampoo and conditioner were not refilled our entire stay - even after I asked. The sheets were dirty and I’m not 100% sure they were changed after the last guest. I’m not sure the situation with the electrical outlets. There was one “usa” plug and three European ones. None were accessible unless you have an extension cord. Regarding the restaurant, breakfast was not included (it usually is for elite members) and was 32€ per person. The breakfast was horrible, go out of the hotel and eat anywhere else. Also, it closes at 11 and the first morning we showed up at 10:45 to be told they were closed. The lounge was ok, but the drinks were removed between service which is not typical of the M lounge. This is probably the longest review I’ve ever done, but we were so disappointed I wanted to share the message with other Marriott members.

The location is OK , Staff is friendly, a bit crowded, or at least this time I visited was crowded especially the breakfast, the room size is OK, a bit pricey compared with others, but breakfast was very good. I haven’t tried the other restaurant in the hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights from 15 Nov to 18 Nov with my husband ( who was on a work trip ) and my 2 boys aged 9 & 15 . It was supposed to be a stay for my son’s 15th birthday . This hotel is the best of its class - from service at concierge to The Midtown grill restaurant where we had our breakfast , guest relations & reservations team . We were given an upgrade room, and Team @ midtown grill for breakfast , including the gentleman ( I didn’t manage to catch his name ) who attended to us with his teammate Angela were prompt and attentive . Special birthday complimentary surprise was given at the restaurant at short notice and guest relations also had a cake placed in the room for him . The quality and spread of food and drinks at midtown grill is amazing and one of the best I have had in Europe thus far . The concierge staff on 15 to 18 Nov were also very kind and helpful . Location is this hotel is also amazing - very easy and close walk from most places like canal and boat rides , Hard Rock Cafe , bicycle rental , vondelskel park and the museums and many lovely bars and restaurants nearby . There is also an Albert Hein Supermarket nearby for immediate needs ! Highly recommended and will surely return !!! Excellent service by the team at Marriot Amsterdam Hotel !!!thank you for making our stay an amazing one !!!

Isaiah wasn’t very pleasant at check in, it’s was 11pm and he was upset that management had allowed me to pay only €100 deposit instead of €400 as I lost my wallet before travelling so had limited cards, showed the email as proof as he still made a fuss, it was embarrassing. Hotel itself it’s gorgeous, 99% of the staff are amazing. The rooms are lovely and spacious and your just a quick tram ride into Amsterdam centraal.
