Hotel was well sited, close to the CBD but not in it, close to shopping, many restaurants, tram was steps away, on a picturesque canal, and within walking distance to major museums and entertainment. All the essentials were literally just steps away. The rooms were large (for Europe) and well equipped. The bathrooms were exceedingly nice. The hotel staff was...

This is a great hotel to stay at. The rooms are clean and appealing to look at, the staff is friendly and the location is terrific. The only downside is that it can be noisy being next to the tram and the Internet is SLOW.......... But it's definitely worth the money and the location is perfect for good food and...

I stayed there for two nights with a girlfriend, after reading some of the reviews. As everyone says the location is great. Next to Leidseplein and the tram is only metres away. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful too. The room that was given to us was large, on the first floor and had a very good...

Perfect location in the centre, nice breakfast, nice staff My room was perfect, heard from other visitors that their rooms were rather small. Parking in the neighberhood can be complicated and is expensive

I've been to this hotel twice because of its great location. It's a tram ride away from Centraal Station and right bang smack in the middle of the canal ring, close to all the shopping streets and hidden restaurants and the bustling area of Leidesplein. The rooms are clean and have a simple elegance to them. All the staff I...

The view from the terrace of my room on the top floor was stupendous. Sudden understanding of Van Gogh's Starry Night... Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel was just elegant enough, excellent staff, perfect location on a canal. I will stay there again, and again.

Good location right on the shopping street and between museum area and red light area. nice rooms and view from the 5th floor, friendly staff, clean, but tv out, cold water, no real charm inside. few bits let it down. Price a bit high for the overal package proposed. Would recommend it anyway .
