Such a lovely hotel perfectly located in Amsterdam - we were able to walk to many of the sights including Anne Frank's house. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. Our (triple) room was gorgeous, recently renovated and very clean. There is complimentary tea and coffee, and the breakfast was magnificent - catering everything from bacon... More

We stayed at Hotel Estheria for two nights in December and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. It is in a good location- walking distance to many of Amsterdam's sights, as well as many restaurants. We chose a canal view room, which was lovely, but a little noisy at night. Our room was rather spacious, but the bathroom... More

Had an excellent stay here from 7th Dec-9th Dec celebrating my partners Birthday. Beautiful decor and staff very pleasant. Free tea & coffee throughout our stay, the only quibble I had was breakfast was €18... So we never had and ate round the corner for €10. This aside, will definitely be staying here again!! X

Rooms are nicer than average. Location is good. But I asked for a 6 am wake up call that simply never came. I missed my train because of it and my day was effectively compromised. To make matters worse, rather than immediately apologizing the manager instead spent his time explaining why he is not responsible for the actions of the... More

Second time in the hotel in two years and they haven't missed a beat. Our stay was December (last stay was in summer), so the hotel was (even more) beautifully decorated, with fairy lights outside, and some added lights in the breakfast area, and the hotel deer at the entrance to the breakfast room. Room: as always, book early, and... More

Been travelling around Middle East and Europe for more than 3 months now, stayed only in 5 star hotels, Sofitel (Lisbon, Brussels, Budapest and St James London), Intercontinental (Prague and Amman), and NH Luxury collection (Madrid). Hotel Estherea is the first 4 star boutique hotel I stayed so far. I am impressed by the location of hotel, friendliness of staff,... More

Fantastic location on Singel and a lavish reception are and bar - a lovely little hotel. Out of season there are good rates to be had but be aware that the standard rooms are quite small and not facing the canalfront - be prepared to pay a bit extra for that.

An excellent stopover, well located and the many little "extras" made it a high quality 4 star option. Staff were exceptional, and all aspects of the room and excellent library and bar area were high quality and immaculate. The only limitation is lack of full restaurant service. (breakfast only on offer) Attention to detail in presentation and cleanliness showed that... More

This is a great hotel, the location is close to everything but is on a quiet street right along a canal. The staff was very friendly and helpful and were able to give us an early check-in when we got into Amsterdam at 6am! The decor is fun and unique and I really can't find any complaints about our stay... More

On line hotel reservation can be hazardous at the best of times. One doesn't always get what you bargained for but Hotel Estherea exceeded all our expectations. Centrally situated along one of the canals in the quaint "Nine Streets" district it was an absolute breeze to get around. We walked everywhere. The breakfasts were excellent, both the selection and the... More

Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
