Good hotel in excellent location, but bedroom too small for two people, virtually tripping over each other. Beds right up to the far wall with the television. Did not like the layout and the glass partition to the bathroom. Room nice and quiet.
Great hotel central to all the major tourist destinations. We were here for 2 days and the room was clean with enough room for my husband and I. The hotel staff were very friendly and were very helpful with all the questions we had. The...More
Perfect location near train station. Within easy walking distance to many of the main sites. Also plenty of restaurants/ bars nearby. Rooms were tiny- basically a bed & bathroom. Bathroom had glass walls so privacy somewhat of an issue. There's not much room to store...More
First: Breakfast was excellent, but certanly also had to pay for it. Rooms are small and the room we were in had a rumbeling noise during the night (sounded like some kind of motor, that at times turned on and off) It was quite desturbing....More
The hotel is in a great central location with railway station and Dam Square all within easy walking distance and with friendly helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and we overlooked the street below.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Anne Frank house is not too far from the hotel. You can walk, take a taxi, or take the tram.
We paid €68 for a taxi from the hotel to the airport; my expat sister days that around €40 would have been more reasonable.
