Good location, near Amsterdam Centraal, but a small and noisy room, without minibar, with hostal furniture (wardrobe without doors). They changed us because of the elevator noise and gave us a room so small it had the bed beside the wall.

We stayed here as a group of friends and shared a triple bedroom on the 4th floor, facing the street. We didn't really notice much noise from the street below, even with a tram stop outside. It's really not a very busy street.. or everybody cycles!! We were pleasantly surprised by how close the hotel is to the central train... More

The check in was quick and easy. They gave us our room early which was great. Only thing that I was not impressed with was the breakfast. Undercooked... More

Great location, clean & very secure, check - in was fast & when we asked for an Iron & Board they said there would be one at 8am the following morning & they did come with it. Room was clean & as expected, glass wall to bathroom not an issue as it is frosted up to 5ft in height

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
