Dam square is not close but manageable with a 30-35 minute walk. Nice neighborhood with interesting architecture. Room...More

Overall we had higher expectations. The room was fair; rather small. The bathroom was run down with a shower curtain that was unpleasant. Staff were very helpful. Location near Van Gogh museum was excellent. The hotel is a on cute side street.

Dont know the answer but the staff at the hotel are very helpful and it is a lovely little central place to stay. I am 82 years old and walked everywhere, only thing to watch out for are the bicycles!!

It was sufficient for our needs (restaurant research!) but we were not working so can’t say if it would be good enough for that.

I think it would be quite "doable" for you, if you are a good walker. Or you could take the tram to somewhere nearer and walk around the interesting district, and walk back to the hotel.
