We did not have the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous hotel, but we did pop in to enjoy a wonderful gin and tonic during happy hour. We felt very welcome and the surroundings were stunning. Service was impeccable and we are getting ready to book an upcoming stay on our return to beautiful Amsterdam!

Our first stay in The Toren hotel was in November 2014 when I proposed to my wife. The hotel was perfect for the occasion, romantic, beautiful rooms, amazing and friendly service, great location and breakfast. There was no question at all about coming back to the Toren for our second visit in Amsterdam on our anniversary. We booked a simpler...

The Toren is a small, extremely comfortable and well situated boutique hotel, with out of this world service, lovely rooms (especially those overlooking the canal) and marvellous G & T cocktails before you head out in the evening. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby. We cannot wait to return!

My wife and I visited Amsterdam and stayed two days at The Toren. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. We arrived in Amsterdam at 5:30 a.m. and were at the hotel by 6:15, obviously well before check-in. The staff brought us coffee and croissants, and said they would work on finding us a room...

Great room, received us with strawberries and chocolate. The staff went out of their way to help us out and point us in the right direction. Charming suite with lots of interesting things to look at in it.

The Toren is a wonderful hotel, beautifully decorated and staffed by helpful and gracious people. Its location can't be beat--it's near Westermarkt, one of the larger east/west streets across the main canals. Trams and buses are close by but it's so fun to walk along the canals we mostly did that. Close to the Anne Frank House and the lovely...

Everything about this hotel is excellent, the hotel staff are friendly and engaging. The cocktails are divine and the rooms are so pleasant with their rich colours and decorations. The rooms are quiet and the garden view is lovely even though it was too cold in March to sit in the garden. Overall I would stay here for my next...

This small hotel is well situated and offers good accommodation. The styling is eclectic but leans towards the rococo over-the-top early 20th century. Housing is in two buildings -- this can be problematic if you are assigned to the building away from the reception-breakfast-bar site. While only 20 meters apart, having to put on a coat to get to breakfast...

Just wow. This hotel is one of the most lovely in which we have stayed. Sadly, only one night. The staff are really fantastic. We had the smallest, most least expensive room and it was LOVELY. So many authentic touches and furnishings. Chocolate and strawberries in our room. The bar is gorgeous. I really cant say enough about how much...
