I get where they’re going with the Van Gogh theme and I even appreciate the attention to detail, like putting a folded red bedspread on the bed to match the one in the paintings...     We had a great experience here at the actual hotel with my large family with multiple kids. At check in they worked hard to accommodate our wishes for the rooms as Diamond members and when we went to the rooms and wanted different ones they were very pleasant... The breakfast brunch is lovely with a nice selection including made to order eggs of various types... Staff at Roberto’s restaurant was nice... They contract out to a private gym which has two issues... The actual gym employees themselves were nice...

    My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam recently while on vacation... Our room was not ready due to time but they allowed us to drop off our bags and visit executive lounge... I applaud the hotel for giving me call when room was ready which was nice touch... The worst thing about stay was only lift was working for the first three days of visit... The executive lounge was very busy for first three nights and one of those nights the hostess did not keep up with the demand for glasses and food... The desk staff was very nice and restaurant staff at breakfast was outstanding...

Elena took care of us most days and was wonderful remembering our preferred coffee orders and providing great service...     About 15 minutes drive from Schiphol airport, 5 km from city centre and 5 minutes walk from the tram stop. Perfect location, extremely helpful staff... I arrived at 8am on a weekend, the staff at front desk did her magic to setup a room for me in 30 minutes... For that duration I was given access to their executive lounge which has a variety of coffee, tea and biscuits...

We have been welcomed and checked in by Lucy, which was very friendly and really professional... Due to our early arrival, room upon arrival was not ready, as a diamond member of Hilton honors, we were provided with an access to the executive lounge to wait there in the meanwhile... The room we received was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a full canal-view... The staff are absolutely amazing and very well trained... The executive lounge is very good and same as for breakfast, they are excellent... Many thanks for the whole staff for the fabulous stay...     pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received from Negin at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with a reservation issue, which ultimately made my trip a success... In addition to Negin's excellent service, the hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly... The rooms were a bit old, but they were well-maintained and comfortable... The lounge was also a nice touch and a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing... Overall, my stay at the Hilton Amsterdam was enjoyable and I would definitely consider booking with them again in the future...

    Based on positive TA reviews and being members of Marriott and Kimpton, we decided to stay with the Hilton where we are also members. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel in Amsterdam... We were able to walk to the tram easily... The hotel had bikes that we were able to rent... As Hilton honors members, we were able to enjoy the delicious happy hour snacks in the lounge at night as well as coffee in the morning... The employees at this hotel are five star... I would like to personally thank the employees at Roberto’s the managers and the very helpful employee named Morgane... The rooms were comfortable and clean and although we did not have canal view the city view was very nice... You exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again!...

    Great hotel easy to get to all museums and sites. I like staying at Hilton because of the points and I especially like hotels were the staff bends over backwards to be nice to me... Very helpful with making sure I was well taken care of and gave me recommendations to various attractions for me based on my interests... The bike was super nice and they rented it to me for like 18 euros a day which made it super easy to get a workout in and I was burning off the calories from all of Amsterdams great food!...

    We paid for a “junior suite” with a king bed and were given the Starry Night Suite... A suite is supposed to include a sitting area... Instead of the typical sofa, there is a wooden bench with a cushion... Then there are four dining chairs arranged around a coffee table... You either need upholstered lounge chairs around a coffee table, or dining chairs around a dining-height table...

    ...Wanted to be near the main train station to easily get to and from Zandvoort, while not being too deep into the heart of downtown Amsterdam. Location provided a good mix of those criteria, but also was walking distance from lots of great bars and restaurants, as well as some of the major tourist attractions (Rijksmuseum, etc)... Check-in process was seamless and we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, which was amazing!... Huge suite with two bathrooms, a large living room area, and a balcony with sweeping views of the city... Daily breakfast was included, which had lots of great buffet options as well as an a la carte menu for some items (omelettes, etc)... Fantastic experience overall and would definitely stay here again...

    Completely blown away by this mid-century modern gem. A pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk from the museum district, the Hilton is on a tree-lined street facing a park... The hotel is quiet striking and the staff professional and accommodating... The open air bar/cafe at the rear of the lobby is terraced down to the canal... Stopped for a light dinner one evening, drinks the next...

    I was recognized as a Hilton Diamond as soon as I stepped in the door and treated as such throughout our stay, including a complimentary room upgrade... The room we stayed in (King Deluxe with city view) was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around... The hotel has an Executive Lounge that is adequate, if not luxuriant... Like most Hilton Lounges these days, it features the basics and a few American hot snacks in the evening (ah, for the old days in European Hiltons)... It’s nice to have, though, when so many are disappearing entirely... Parking is easy, if a bit pricey for an out of center city location... But it’s location on an outer canal is beautiful, and it is quiet and restful... We will certainly return, and I highly recommend this Hilton...

Staff were all friendly and even gave us a glimpse into the John Lennon suite... Breakfast was good with lots to choose from... Special thanks to our waiter Beau!... We were there every evening relaxing after a busy day in town... Ask for a fan or windows opened because a/c is sometimes not cool enough...

    My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam recently while on vacation... Our room was not ready due to time but they allowed us to drop off our bags and visit executive lounge... I applaud the hotel for giving me call when room was ready which was nice touch... The room was quite nice - we did junior suite and had view of canal... The executive lounge was very busy for first three nights and one of those nights the hostess did not keep up with the demand for glasses and food... The desk staff was very nice and restaurant staff at breakfast was outstanding... Nice terrace overlooking canal...

    Hotel is a bit outside the busy area of the City but very close to public transportation so easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was a nice size and had a lovely view of the canal... It was my husbands birthday and on top of decorating the room, each staff member seemed to know and wish him a happy birthday... Breakfast was included in our room rate and we enjoyed the buffet each morning... Elena took care of us most days and was wonderful remembering our preferred coffee orders and providing great service... Our favorite part of the hotel was the lounge with its cozy decor and fireplace overlooking the canal... Federia the cocktail server and Ivan the bartender were great and always had a drink in our hands very quickly... Our server Alessandra was very knowledgeable and provided recommendations for our meal that were perfect...

To whom it may concern, I have had stayed many times in Hilton Hotels, to be honest this was the worst one. Hilton is known as their hospitality and welcome. I am afraid we could not find any of this in Amsterdam Hilton. During check inn the lady in reception desk was so rude and arrogant. She did not even want to talk or explain us anything. If you have security cameras please check her behaviour and looking. It is a big shame for Hilton. One good thing was the service at breakfast was excellent. Hope you will get this feed back soon. It is not nice to be not welcomed in Hiltons. Regars İlknur

First, the location. Easy to get to via bus from Schiphol. In a quiet residential neighborhood overlooking a canal and lovely homes. There are restaurants and some shops within a six minute walk. If you want a bar of chocolate or a box of crackers, expect to walk, no 7-11 or similar close by. Second, the people. Wow everyone went out of their way to be helpful from the Front Desk (changing cash, adjusting reservation, noticing we were charged for two rental bikes, not one ), to the fantastic Concierges and bell staff (who arranged for bikes, taxis, package drop off/pickup) to the unflappable wait staff in Roberto’s for a wonderful buffet. Third, if you’re a Hilton Diamond, there is a charming lounge on the top floor — all windows overlooking the City. Drinks, food, snacks, wifi, all very nice. Fourth, the rooms we had was more than sufficient for our 3 day visit to AMS. Clean with crisp linens. USB ports galore for charging. Would I stay here again? Definitely. It’s away from the crowded scene but only a 15 minute walk to the Rijksmuseum (sp?) and the Van Gogh museum.

From acquiring tickets to everywhere we wanted to go, they also helped in our planning. Hotel was clean, breakfast amazing and such sweet kind personnel. The location is the best for seeing museums. We walked to the museums, took the trams to Anne Frank house. We even took a tram to the main train station. Taxi from the train to the hotel was 50 euros…. The tram was less than 4 euros.

Hilton Amsterdam is a really nice hotel. When I checked in , I noticed that there is a strange step in front of the checking counter. I have visited so many hotels over the years, it is the first time I see such device - obviously it is convenient for people with certain height issue or handicap to stand up - very nice! As a Hilton Diamond member I was upgraded to presidential suite. The suite is extremely beautiful, well renovated and well decorated, with panoramic view and large balcony overlooking the cannel. Hotel is by a cannel, located in a nice neighborhood with beautiful houses. It is about 10 Euro for Uber to go to RAI, and walking about 7 minutes to catch public transport, so it is a convenient location for attending exhibition. Overall, an excellent hotel with excellent service. Although it has long history, sitting in its nice room, you do not feel it old. It is just pretty nice.

We arrived after an early morning flight from the US. Our room was not ready (as was expected), so we freshened up, stored our luggage, grabbed umbrellas (concierge has tons of them) and headed out for our first day in Amsterdam. It is a bit far from the city center but it is out of the hustle and bustle. Quick walk to the museums-we walked everywhere. As we were there with a tour company, we arrived a day early and I had emailed the hotel asking if we could be put in the same room as our tour so we wouldn’t have to move. We were graciously accomodated! We took the 397 bus from the airport. The bus drops you off a block (Emmastradt (sp?)) from the hotel- it was pouring when we arrived but it was not far to go. The room was large and so was the bathroom. They have what we have found to be typical in Europe, the 1/2 wall shower-the shower is not completely enclosed. Something to get used to. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. We ate dinner the first night in the bar area. Prices were high but it’s Amsterdam and in a hotel so I didn’t expect it to be a cheap dinner. They have a great buffet breakfast! We stayed for 3 breakfasts and they had several different items each day so it didn’t get tiresome. Someone was always available to refill coffees! They have a small gift shop which we just looked in the window of and a coffee shop. I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the Bellman that was working everyday we were there. He greeted us with umbrellas in the morning and welcomed us back in the evening. So friendly and helpful even while we struggled with jet lag-lol! A great stay in Amsterdam!!

excellent location, Hotel is next to Canal and in 20 min walk you are in downtown. The rooms a spacious and very clean, staff friendly and very helpful... If we are next time again in Amsterdam this Hotel will have us back. Thank you again for the great time.

Reception Staff is not friendly. Bills were wrong. Breakfast was too busy with very long long queue because of group tour which they could have set up a separate place for them to have breakfast. The occupied 80% of the room. It was loud and we could hardly get food. Reception really not friendly. They don’t recognised kids as no amenities (website said there are kids amenities) room was really warm! But clean.

This is hotel is a1 in all respects, the only few issues I would raise are:- 1. the executive lounge is not as good as the hotel, it has great views, but is rather small and not clean ! surprising when all else in the hotel is perfect. 2. Bike rentals, which are great as the best way to get around, but they lack baskets, which is a pity. The hotel is not located in the main tourist location, which is great for work.

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in connecting rooms that were very spacious. The hotel is set in a quiet neighborhood. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Roberto’s a fun restaurant with good food. I would stay here again.
