We stayed on new loveboat from thursday untill sunday, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We were 8 people on the boat and it was not to small infact, it was just the right size. When we came on thursday we got a very nice and entusiastic welcome from Eric, one of the owners. A very serviceminded man. He...

The reviews of this boat are all outstanding so I really feel like the odd one out. It really could be a beautiful boat but, never having been to Amsterdam before, I guess I didn't know what to expect. When we got there and saw the area where the boats are, with all of the old and rusty boats, it...

Dear Jennifer, I was very sorry that the LOVE boat did not match your expectations. That you left for the Amrath hotel the next day, -one of the most luxurious and expensive hotels in town-, probably does say something about your expectations on arrival. By the way: Amrath is our first neighbour, only 30 meters away, exactly in the same...

Great boat ,great location if you want to feel like one of the locals this is the place to be. The only thing this boat is missing is two bikes but we hired them anyway and that's recommended, an easy way to see a huge part of the city at little cost.

My girlsfriend and i, went for at trip to Amsterdam in december. It was my girlfriend who found HouseBoatForRentAmsterdam, and it was worth every penny and more. We rented the love boat, the boat it self was cosy, clean and very romantic. When we arrived we met up with the host who showed us how everything worked in the boat,...

I thought I submitted a review for this long ago, but do not see it posted. My husband and I are frequent visitors to Amsterdam. We have stayed at many of the top hotels and talked about staying in a houseboat for years. We stayed in the Love Houseboat for a little under two weeks in fall of 2010 and...

Me and my boyfriend stayed on both the Rose and the Love boats, they were lovely! The location is brilliant, and we walked pretty much everywhere. Nina and Eric are wonderful hosts and were so accommodating, even letting us check in early and late so we didnt have to wait around if we didnt want to to. We also managed...

We booked last minute in the school summer holidays and had one of the most fantastic short holidays with 3 children in tow! The boat was excellent in every way - central to everything, comfortable, and a novelty for kids. We would definitely recommend it to other families.

The Houseboats owned by these guys are simply great. The location by far is the best, you can walk to anywhere you can! The houseboats are really well maintained, they look good, smell good and feel good. They are definitely worth the money. The owners are sweethearts - Nina and Eric, they make you feel so comfortable. They have all...

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

“Rose if perfect for a couple. It is recently renovated (e.g. it has floor heating, a fancy shower, etc). But its terrace is not as good as the Sunset's Sunset can host two couples. It has a large living room and two bedrooms. Terrace area has a perfect view. But the decoration is a bit older (but still very good) than the ones of Rose”
