Me and my partner stayed here for a midweek few days in Amsterdam and were impressed on every level. In a lovely quiet location but extremely close to the museum quarter, so the culture is on your doorstep. The moment we arrived the member of staff on duty was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well...

2nd time staying here. Love the location as you can literally walk to everything. Room was on the bottom floor and not as amazing as my first visit. The carpet definitely needs cleaning & I was right across from the laundry room. Was able to check in early so that was a plus. They also sell 24 hour tram passes...

Hotel staff were very friendly & cheerful, and gave us a lot of helpful tips during our stay there. They even gave us a little surprise when they learnt we were on our honeymoon! Thomas was also very funny, and made us feel right at home :) Great location on a quiet street - a shopping street is just around...

I just got back from an amazing visit, exploring the unique and wonderful city of Amsterdam. I chose the Hotel JL No76 based on location and a great price for a subterranean room since I was traveling alone. I just needed a safe, comfortable place to lay my head in between long days of exploring the city, and this place...

The staff made this hotel a stand out. Special mention to hotel Manager Thomas who took all the steps to make our stay a memorable one. He was most accomodating to our requests. A hands-on manager who was there to serve guests on New Years day breakfast. And thanks for the wine upon arrival! Andre was another great team member....

This was a lovely hotel, close to museums and transport. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Even a television at the end of the bath tub. There is a lift if you are on the upper levels. There is a honesty mini bar that you can help yourself too and sit in their comfy lounge area.

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
