Close enough, far enough. Not in the Center of the city but come enough to get there fast. Minutes from the Rijksmuseum and Heineken plant. Canal tours store 100 meters from door. Breakfast was pricey and not as wide variety. Dinner portions were large.

Friendly staff. Good location for trams into the city, and the market. Very large rooms for Amsterdam. Beautiful bathroom, with a rainfall shower head high up in the ceiling. Lots of remote control bits for AC, lighting, etc. Amenities one would expect; fridge, ironing board, tea/coffee.

Tram stop just outside front door, another tram line just 30 metres round the corner, canal boats stop opposite, fabulous staff (efficient, helpful and pleasant throughout), comfortable quiet room, great gin-and-tonic in the bar.......what more could be needed for a city-break. Didn't "eat in" so cannot comment on hotel's restaurant; breakfast was not outstanding but adequate preparation for a day... More

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. Although a little more expensive than other hotels I think that it was worth paying that little bit extra. There was nothing significant to the hotel but we had a pleasant stay and I would recommend visitors to considering staying here.

If you're going to have prentensions of luxury and comfort (Porcelanosa sinks) don't put a Ryanair-style vending machine in the room instead of a mini-fridge. Also, stingy coffee and tea facilities (ONE sachet of milk, ONE teabag, for a double room?) does not make guests feel very welcome but instead, like the "mini-bar", emphasise that this hotel's priorities are in... The front desk staff seriously lack warmth and any sense of understanding, empathy and good will. I booked a standard double room online and was given a room located on the basement level looking out to garbage containers in the back of the hotel. When I complained, was give a long, unsympathetic, "not-our-problem" narrative about "getting exactly what I booked",... More

We got a great deal on this hotel and so opted for a deluxe room. It was perfect, clean, well equipped and very quiet. Glad we didn't go for a room in the basement. Excellent breakfast. Very relaxed. Slightly disappointed that the bar did not advertise local jenever for sale.

Just back from a short break in this amazing city & hotel.from the word go the staff were welcoming, efficient, friendly and nothing was too much for them. We arrived very early before check in, but our rooms were ready & we were able to check in ; a real bonus. We ate in the restaurant & while the menu... More

The hotel is located ideally within a 5 minute walk from rembrandtsplein. It is clean and the staff are polite enough but it is definitely a 3 star hotel in my opinion. The bar shuts too early, we were told only 2 key cards are allowed after we got locked out of our room and had to get reception to... More

Good location - About 15 mins walk to the centre of Amsterdam but just away from the hustle and bustle. Number 4 tram stopped right outside the hotel and ran until midnight. We booked an attic room, which was modern and extremely spacious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great value for money.
