Found hotel to be in a convenient location just far enough out of centre but minutes from tram for easy access. Local cafe and bar offered value for money. Hotel staff very welcoming, polite and customer focussed. Any request was met with a positive response and the warm birthday wishes were welcomed. Room plenty large enough for two with big... More

Really nice hotel and convenient for the centre of Amsterdam. Its walkable to Dam Square I'm around 25 mins but the tram stop is right outside if you prefer. Stayed for three nights in November. Biblical rain but that can't be helped! Rooms are modern, and well laid out with storage and comfort. Showers excellent. Mattresses very firm. We were... More

Spent a 3 night stay at Hotel Larende. Requested a quiet room at the rear which was granted. Very clean and warm which was welcoming after the very rainy cold weather. Our room was cozy and nice. The staff were lovely and friendly. Kristina was very nice and I can't remember the receptionist's name who welcomed us on Thursday and... More

Having left the hustle bustle of Paris, flying into Amsterdam, we arrive at the Hotel Larende to be greeted by Lenny with a cold draft Heineken. The slow down began. Service is 24 hours. Breakfast is beyond comment other than to say, GREAT. Staff can hook up up with public transportation passes to Hop on Hop off tickets. Hotel does... More

Modern and clean hotel -clean relatively large rooms and beds. We were welcomed with a free drink and everything was good during our trip. Breakfast was pleasant - served between 7.30 and 10am. On the saturday morning it was busiest in that last hour - earlier on it was fine. Selection of cheeses and cold meats, breads, a couple of... More

Nothing fancy and kind of small, but all double rooms come with a balcony, beds were proper sized and comfortable and everything is clean and neat and welcoming. Perfect spot in walking distance to the city. Good coffee and trendy restaurants in immediate distance. Friendly multi language speaking 24/7 reception, doable wifi, awful breakfast buffet with dry bread and soggy... More

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Larende. From the moment we walked in to check-in, the staff was so accomodating. I hope I am spelling it correctly but Audrina really made our entire trip to Amsterdam something we will talk about as a family for years to come. I don't know how many times she refilled my dad's cheese... More

We stayed 1 night (2 days) and couldn't have been more impressed with the service. We interacted with both the day and night shift, as the front desk is open 24 hours. I only wish I could remember their names, as I would like to personally thank them here. For such a short stay, we were helped with a late... More
