The hotel is in a really great area. Its a quiet street on a canal, but the large streets near by have a really excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Paul, and his friend who helped out as well, were just great. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight. The hotel has all of the necessities, and the back... More

We stayed here for three nights and were thrilled with the size of the room/bathroom and the location. We stayed in room 115 on the main floor overlooking the canal. It was nice and roomy with two huge windows to let the light in. It was clean and fresh and welcoming. You can hear traffic and people outside a bit... More

My wife and I spent 6 nights and loved all of it. After 40 years of marriage and being informal we don't want glitz and glamour, just clean, quiet, and comfortable. Orlando is all that and more. We had room 114, on the main floor looking out on the courtyard. The room was huge (almost 25 x 30) with a... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Orlando, paying €100 per night for room 111. I really enjoyed my stay, with the hotel being right on the canal belt, it was really nice. Finding the hotel is really easy, the Prinsengracht tram stop (tram 4) is a 2 minute walk away at the top of the street. Tram... More

We adored the Orloando. It is located right on the canal and our room was right at the front which looked out onto the canal. Our room was giant with 2 double beds and giant TV and an absoluetly gorgeous bathroom with big bath. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the staff were amazingly kind. Breakfast was great (included... More

We stayed on the ground floor with a canal view. The room was simple but stylish and very clean. The bathroom was modern and in tip-top condition - lovely! Basic but good breakfast, friendly and accomodating service. Nice location – central but not busy, and walking distance to some nice shops and restaurants (try out Beddingtons just a street away).... After I made my reservation for my August 15-19 stay (about halfway through a 6-week 10-city trip through Europe) at the Hotel Orlando, some negative reviews popped up here at TA and I got a bit nervous. Then when we arrived at the hotel and rang the bell, twice, and no one answered, I was also a bit nervous. But... More

After much research, we booked hotel orlando and we loved this hotel. I stayed in Room 117 with my parents from July 21-23, 2007. The three huge windows bring the room a lot of light. The decor is classy and make you feel calm and warm. The canal is right outside our window. Paul serves breakfast in the basement, which... More

After reading one of the previous reviews I was a little concerned!! Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who took us to our room. The room was enormous and had a beautiful view of the canal. The room was nicely furnished and had air-con. It had 3 enormous windows with wonderful drapes and voiles! The... More
