Booked at this hotel due to it's proximity to the main streets and I was a bit worried at first because of some reviews. We checked in with no trouble, the host was friendly and polite. Walked up the stairs to the room, clean hallways and fresh scent. The room was a lot larger than expected, one queen size bed... More

The location of this place is quite good. The set-up of the room was quite quaint. We didn't have luggage so we were ok with staying up at the attic. There were enough towels and toiletries provided for our stay. We were happy to find lots of toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and shower gel for our one-night stay. Internet connection... More

Having read other reviews on trip advisor I was a bit concerned about the quality of the room, as the reviewer photos differed wildly to the photos on their booking website. However, I was really pleasantly surprised by our room (in the townhouse opposite the main reception, ground floor) It was beautifully done up and really comfy, I cannot fault... More

We stayed in ITC during our weekend trip to Amsterdam. Hotel is approx.30min walk from the Central station, 15min walk from Van Gogh museum. We were given a room across the road in the Townhouse (in their 2nd building). The room was lovely, modern and clean, but small. TV, a kettle and toiletries provided. However, there was no hair dryer.... More

House keeping are awful I was 5 minutes late checking out of my hotel room due to not feeling well. I had let the reception lady know and she kindly let me take my time. However house keeping still arrived only to be told I have 5 minutes and I need to get out of the room. They were also... More

Do not stay here if you want security piece of mind. I came here on a short noticec business trip. No fooling around, meetings then a business dinner. I came back to a room door wide open lights on! Door was shut and lights off when I left! I had opened windows to let air in when I left. Pillows... More

Amsterdam is not cheap to visit so finding decent accommodation at a good price is a challenge. I was apprehensive prior to my visit with my wife and 2 children (17 and 14) especially after reading some reviews for ITC. I needn't have worried, OK it's not a luxury hotel but it has everything we needed. Pros- central location on... More

This hotel isn't a very big place , Its old , and a little dirty outside but in a descent NEIGHBORHOOD on a great canal street. GOOD location in spite of all its down falls . Tiny rooms that are basic but adequate. Noisy rooms in front . Really steep stairs . The front desk didn't offer to help with... More

I stayed here along time ago back in 1997 when hotels were alot more reasonable in price . It's in a nice location right off a main canal street. . The Anne Frank house is 6 blocks down on the same street . Leidesplain is just a couple blocks away , OK three blocks away . But the bad stuff... More

we stayed there mid september. I thought that for the price: over $200 per night, it was pure robbery! when we arrived at the hotel reception it was so shabby looking that the woman said, seeing our disappointed faces: "it's a 2 star hotel!" the room ended up being on the other side of the canal where we had to...
