I visited the Hotel Sebastian's November 5 for a 1 night stay and arrived early and the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. They stored my things and gave me complimentary brunch. They helped me locate the canal cruise and also recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner and made the reservations while I worked in my room. In addition,... More

We were only in AMS for one night en route back home after a trip to Italy. Read great reviews about this hotel and their sister property The Torren just down the block. There is a reason for all these reviews...service at this hotel is beyond belief and rooms very comfortable. In email exchanges trying to select the best room... More

Cosy ambience, quiet canal view and friendly and helpful staff made our 3 night stay in Amsterdam very comfortable. Truly, no request was too small or big. The staff advised on tours, restaurants and made reservations for us so efficiently. Located within walking distance to Amsterdam Centraal Station, moving around to/from the hotel to the sights was easy. We left... More

If you go to Amsterdam, you must stay here. Be warned, the interior is colourful so if you're that fussy, look at the hotel photos first. We loved it. From walking through the door, the excellent staff can't do enough for you. We didn't have to ask for anything. The front desk gave us maps, tour advice, shopping and neighbourhood... More

A lovely hotel with warm and welcoming staff. We were made to feel special from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Henri on reception (when we first arrived) welcomed us and gave us a lovely room (unprompted), an upgrade for free breakfast and bar vouchers. He also helped book venues and advised us of the best local... More

Hotel Sebastian is located in a stunning part of Amsterdam. We stayed in Room 114 which overlooked the gardens at the back of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and well presented with a nice walk in shower, free iced water and coffee machine! We did not have breakfast... Staying here really made my trip special, the hotel knew that it was my birthday and I was left a bottle of cava in room, and breakfast on the house for my first mornings stay, lovely surprise! The room was small but very comfortable bed, good shower, nespresso coffee machine, air conditioning, fridge. Would definately recommend.

A highlight of my recent visit to Amsterdam was my stay in Hotel Sebastian's. Perfectly located, within easy walking distance of museums, shopping, restaurants, my stay in the hotel was enriched by superb service by every one of the staff. From the moment I arrived, and even before, in the emails exchanged about reservations, my every wish was taken care... More

Nice little hotel in a good area, pretty canals, quiet but close to things we wanted eg Anne Franks house is 10 minutes walk, the Central station and Canal Tour stop is 10 minutes away, some very nice restaurants within 3-5 minutes. The staff are very helpful indeed, they spend time when you check in showing you the key areas... More
