The hotel is situated on the Keizersgracht canal, in the centre of town - which is ideal, as it is close to the shopping district, cafes, restaurants etc.. (a few minutes walk from the Anne Frank house). We stayed for two nights in the luxury medium room, with a canal view. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a newly renovated...

This is a well-appointed boutique hotel in one of the best parts of town. It is a tasteful modern conversion of an eighteenth-century town house which maintains the original facade. It also happens to be within walking distance of the Central Station which has frequent trains to Schiphol airport. Tram routes to the main attractions are not far distant and...

Very warm helpful and friendly personal. Probably the most helpful desk staff I have ever encountered. Can order tickets for museums, trains and other items at the desk and very knowledgeable about the local area and how best to get there. Received a welcome drink voucher for their lounge. Buffet breakfast is a good value - kids free under a...

We have stayed in Hotel Sebastian for two nights recently. The room is very clean and quite spacious compared to the other hotels we stayed during our other Europe trips. The location is very convenient, close to Amsterdam Central station, metro stops and Ann Frank house. What I want to particularly point it out is that the hotel staff are...

Just finished a 2 night stay in this hotel found all staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was recently decorated and whole hotel is clean and tidy, in an ideal location. We had a canal view which made for some great autumnal pictures. Only negative was bar drinks expensive compared to local bars.

Definitely one of the best boutiques I've stayed in I booked the small single room as I was travelling solo The room was more than adequate, good size bed and enough room for storage The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful I'm not sure if the owner picks his staff based on their personality but if he didn't he lucked...

Dear Guest, When we see reviews coming like this, there are hardly any words to describe how happy it makes all of us. It was simply a thrill to read that you've had such a great stay that you even refer to Hotel Sebastian's being one of the best boutique hotels you've stayed at. Could our day be any better?...

Best friendly greetings. Already via mail before arrival we got useful info and tips on restaurants and more. Comfortable room and although I booked a small room we found it very nice. Perfect area for walking nearby and plenty of nice restaurants and cafés. Will return!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late November. If you're looking to stay in a more chilled area of central Amsterdam then this place is perfect. It's away from the Red Light / party area but also well within reasonable walking distance so you can hit as much or as little of that side of the city that you...

I have stayed here several times and have no hesitation is strongly recommending it. It's in the perfect location. Less than a short 10 minute walk from Central Station and just around the corner from the trendy Jordaan area, where you will find many cosy bars and restaurants frequented by the locals. The hotel will give you an excellent list...

A centrally located well designed hotel. We opted for a room with a view to the canal. The decoration is modern and in good taste. We walked around to nice restaurants, bars, shops and museums. The staff are super friendly and eager to help and answer to all your questions. It took us 12 minutes to walk to the Central...
