Fantastic all round!
We stayed in the Van Gogh Suite which has a lovely large private balcony.
The location is just brilliant - a lovely quiet neighbourhood but less than a 10 minute walk to the museums and a very easy stroll or bike ride...More
This hotel is quite simply fabulous.
The rooms are well prepared, very clean and well designed. The staff are the best I have ever encountered in the 9 yrs of working away.
From preparing a personalised breakfast for two in the morning to buying toothpaste...More
This is our second stay at Museum Suites and we loved it even more. We stayed in the Vemeer Suite which was spacious and decorated very tastefully. The owners and staff are lovely people who go out of their way to help and provide first...More
We spent two nights here in early May. The hotel is a large, late 19th century townhouse and the rooms have been done over tastefully and sensitively ... and comfortably. The major museums are a short distance away, either a tram ride or an easy...More

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

We got a 'Hotel Taxi' which went to all the hotels in Amsterdam - it's worth checking if you can get one of those because it wasn't expensive and it gets you there directly - worth checking with Museum Suites
