...that make The Dylan an outstanding hotel. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) recently spent 4 nights at The Dylan in two interconnecting rooms and enjoyed out stay immensely. The Dylan is perfectly located on a beautiful canal in the 9 Streets area and offers incredibly personalized service and wonderful rooms. With that said, it's really that... More

A great hotel with a great location. We walked from the hotel to every part of the city we wanted to visit, and we walked to and from the train station when (we only had carry-on luggage) which took about 25 min. Our room was beautiful and felt luxurious. The hotell staff were very nice and pleasant, and professional. Quick... More

We stayed at the Dylan 1 night. We choose this hotel because of its safe location and proximity to the Ann Frank House. The neighborhood is very trendy and upscale and there are plenty of nearby restaurants to eat at. The maze like route to get to the elevator then our room was a little irritating but other than that... More

My wife and I stayed at the Dylan for 4 nights. The hotel is well-located close to main attractions and yet amidst a quieter neighborhood (9 streets). The room we got (number 8) facing the courtyard was clean and had a nice bathroom even though a little bit small for what we were expecting (or maybe just over furnished).

The Dylan enjoys a prime location with easy walking to Ruksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, 15 minutes by foot. The hotel has a great casual bar, a nice open terrace for a welcome variation on high tea; how does High Wine sound? The casual restaurant next to the charming bar is quite good, and the gourmet restaurant, Michelin One Star,... More

The location can't be beat, the rooms are large and lovely, and the staff...above and beyond helpful! We arrived at this beautiful hotel and discovered the airlines had damaged my TSA lock and I could not open my suitcase. In less than 2 minutes, a gentleman was at our door with a large pair of cutters and made quick work... More

The location is convenient and in an upscale neighborhood within the center core of Amsterdam. The service is spectacular and the bar and restaurant are enticing. While the building is charming, the physical limitations are significant. Stairs (some steep) are scattered throughout any path you might take to your room. The elevator is inconveniently located and the hallways are somewhat... More

A good choice in the heart of the 9 streets shopping area, easy walk to a tram. First rate dining and breakfast. Gorgeous public spaces and terrace. Rooms are spacious but perhaps a little too designed and flimsy. Do book a table for dinner at the Michelin 1 star in house restaurant.

Loved everything about this hotel - the location and size of the property, the superb staff and polished service, the understated elegance of the room, the courtyard view and amazing food made for an exceptional five night stay. If you enjoy classic sophistication with a clean modern edge, The Dylan is the perfect choice.
