Staff were great, maid inclusive! Hotel in a lovely area, conveniently placed beside tram stop 2 and a supermarket! However, there were three beds in one of our rooms, as though there was no-where else to store it, and one of our rooms had a...More
The neighbourhood and look of the hotel are very flattering. The receptionnist was extremely kind and helpful.
Our first thought when we saw the room is that it was quite small. We almost smashed the door against the t.v. that was on the wall. Basic...More
We stayed in 303. Small room, but good and for a fair price. The bathroom was fine; washing table, hairdryer, nice shower, toilet. The bed was very comfy: soft. 1,5 persons bed, but good for us. Little balcony, tv, water boiler, tea, coffee, wifi. 5-10...More
We stayed in Hotel Central Park for two nights and although it was OK, we probably wouldn't stay here again.
Breakfast was not included with our stay and the rooms were very cold. We booked one double room and one triple room and the double...More

Hello Inda K, we also came from Schiphol airport. We took the train (which is located in the airport. €5.30 for a single, ticket machines will be visible and they only accept card or coins) to central station and from there, you go outside and cross the street. the tram stop is right there. You want to take the #2 and stop at Amstelveenseweg. You can pay for the tram as you get in and they accept all modes payment. (€3.00 for a single) from there I suggest using a map or gps, but it is really close. Hope this was helpful!

I guess it depends how far in to the centre you go. We spent most night at the bars around Leidespein, so from there it was about 30-35 minutes through the park. Even at 11 or 12pm, the park was still occupied by people and cyclists passing through with lights on. We never felt unsafe, but only did it a couple of times. As mentioned below, walking around and then along Willemsparkweg might be preferable and will be much more well lit.
The #2 tram runs very late though, beyond midnight, I believe.
