Struggled up a steep flight of stairs with all our luggage with no assistance, to be placed into a cramped room directly behind the reception and office area, separated only by a thin wooden wall. Found the bathroom flooded, dust coating the cupboard, window and bed (inside and out), some sort of mould growing (thriving, actually) inside the radiator, everything...

Not a great hotel. Very cramped, cheaply furnished and Wifi did not work well. But was clean and conveniently located. Would not stay here again. Amsterdam is a small city that is easily accessible by walking or Tram service so better to stay in a nicer place even if it is a little farther from Dam square.

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 days [two nights] and I can't fault it really! The location is perfect, I cannot emphasise enough how amazing the location of this hotel is. The room itself is small but me and my friend are larger girls and we managed fine! The bathroom is spotless and looks relatively new, the beds...

I had stayed recently in Amsterdam (2 nights, travelling alone) and Sharm Hotel was a great choice. The location is really perfect to explore the city and the hotel is very close from Amsterdam Centraal Station (walking distance), which was crutial for having access to intercity trains and a very good public transportation. The single bedroom is very small but...

I just came back from a three night stay here with friends. The previous reviews gave a true reflection of this place - clean, a good location, friendly staff, nothing wrong with the rooms. This is a no thrills hotel, which is exactly what we wanted, for the price. Would recommend to anyone wanting some there simple and clean to...

Me and 2 friends were booked into the Sharm for 3 nights Fri Sat Sun. We got there as arranged, We were told the room is not yet ready and were offered a Coffee in Reception. There was a bit of Paper Shuffelling and Frantic phone calls, going on and I was asked to settle my bill before shown the...

We a family of 4 spent 4 nights in this hotel from 14 to 18 May 2015. The stairs were really very steep and luckily the owner was very nice to help us carry our 2 big luggage and 2 standard luggage up a well as down when we checked out. Everything was very basic and a room for 4...

The Budget Sharm Hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal and though only a 5 / 10 minute walk from the Dam [Amsterdam Square], it felt far enough away not to be on top of things so we still had an undisturbed night’s sleep. The location offers easy access to all parts of the...

Great location to get around and see Amsterdam! Check in was easy and hassle Free, stairs were steep so luggage was difficult to get to the room. wifi was good quality! Was a fair walk from the train station but was close to all the main attractions and main square. Felt safe at night. highly recommended, lovely!
