The lovely MercedesBnB Amsterdam is situated in a beautiful quiet and old street in the city centre of Amsterdam. The family home was built in 1747 near Prinsengracht (canal). It is a 15 min walk from the Anne Frank House and 10 min away from Central Station. Also, the Dam square is close by and can be reached via the Haarlemmerstraat. We at MercedesBnB Amsterdam can offer two different rooms. The wonderful Deluxe Studio or the cosy Double Room. Both rooms have an on-suite bathroom and are situated on the second floor of the family house. The neighbourhood Mercedes B&B is situated in the city centre of Amsterdam. Not far away from the hip and quirky shopping street Haarlemmerstraat. Not only shopping, but it is also a perfect street for dining and bars hopping. The street is in the wonderful Jordaan district. You are guaranteed to find a special little something from Amsterdam in this alternative shopping district.

Detailed Reviews
Terrific location-- a quiet residential street steps away from the Brouwersgracht and a 10 minute walk to the Centraal station. Not in a tourist area!
Private studio room has comfy king equivalent bed, galley with utensils etc. Loved the windows, live greenery and colorful art.
Great local restaurants like Balraj, Ducca Due and Rosereyn eet cafe on nearby Haarlemerdijk/ straat.
The owner is very pleasant and respondsive.
Book well in advance. I'd come again.
Note: rooms are up the traditional narrow turning staircase . Other room faces street. The rooms are modernized and very clean.
Also I would skip including "breakfast" at nearby tiny cafe if you are staying for longer than a few days. Also opens late ( 8:30) if you like an early start.

This was a first time stay in Amsterdam and the accommodations at the Mercedes Bed and Breakfast were perfect for our time there. The location is walking distance from the train station and all of the major attractions, along with great restaurants close by. Isabel and Leonard were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond helping when one us contracted a case of swimmers itch. We will certainly stay here when we return to Amsterdam.

Wonderful stay! Isabel welcomed us once we informed her that we checked in and she was so helpful and informative answering any questions, arranging a taxi for us and recommending place to eat and how to get there. It was very comforting to know we had her there in a country where we knew no one!
The place was just as advertised and very comfortable. The space is well utilized, providing everything you could think of needing. The bottle of wine, sparkling water and nespresso were especially nice. The location is perfect as it’s close enough to all the tourist things but not in the busy area itself. Would definitely stay there again.

Dear Voyager ;) Thank you for such a lovely review! It was a real pleasure welcoming you both to our home, and I’m so glad I could help make your stay in Amsterdam smooth and enjoyable. I know it can be overwhelming to navigate a new country, so I’m happy to hear that my recommendations and assistance were comforting for you. I’m delighted that you found the space comfortable and that the little touches like the wine, sparkling water, and Nespresso added to your experience. We’ve put a lot of thought into making sure everything you might need is on hand, so it’s wonderful to know it made a difference for you. The location really is ideal, isn’t it? Close enough to explore all the sights, yet peaceful enough to feel like a bit of an escape from the hustle and bustle. We’d be absolutely thrilled to welcome you back anytime! Warmest regards, Isabel

We really enjoyed our short stay at this BnB, and would gladly visit again! The location made our stay very relaxing as we could reach everything we had planned for but were able to go back to the apartment in between times. The bed is very comfortable and the nicest thing is the charm of the place - it's an old building that's been modernized for comfort but hasn't lost its character. Isabel is a wonderful host!

Stayed with Isabel for 4 nights on our way to a river cruise in France. The location was excellent, walking distance to Dam Square or the Central Station in a quiet spot, canal-side. Very clean, great bed, lots of hot water, well equipped little kitchen w/ frig, and very close to many choice eateries and a bargain laundry. Owners were very warm and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

This was a fantastic small B&B 5 minutes walk from city center. Breakfast included in a nearby cafe, plenty to eat. Really cozy rooms and nice owner. Taxi from the airport took about 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

All you can ever need in the heart of Amsterdam. Mercedes bed and breakfast was incredibly cozy and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the attention to detail was AMAZING! I had my transport from the airport arranged for and paid for me. Everything was top tier. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Amsterdam.

We stayed at the BnB for 3 nights. It's in a great location - close to the station and everywhere is walkable, plus loads of independent shops and restaurants. The room was really comfortable, nicely decorated with everything you need for your stay - much nicer than staying in a standard hotel room. The bottle of cava was a nice touch. The cafe where you go for breakfast is nice and only a couple of minutes walk away. The only downside for us was that as you are staying in an old house you hear people walking around upstairs, going up and down the stairs plus the front door opening and closing - it was ok at night but unless you are an early riser not so great.

Pretty, traditional house in the historic center of Amsterdam. Next to anything you might need. Within walking distance of the canals, quite a view. The room is in the second floor and the bathroom is really big and confortable and everything was very clean and organized. The owner was very kind and helped with directions and recomendations .I recommend the place highly.

The location is absolutely great - a little street in the center - very close to everything, but small enough to keep quiet. Room is clean, comfortable, with a bathroom and a little kitchenette. Isabel and her family make the experience feel like you are visiting your family. Highly recommended for couples and small families.
