We didn't like this B&B, we didn't have a good experience. First of all, I chose this hotel because of the good reviews that I read here, but I was disappointed. First of all, this hotel charged the room in our credit card one week before our arrival. After I sent them an e-mail about this, the owner told us... More

We would like to explain a few things in reaction to this review. About two weeks before the arrival date we send all our guests an email telling them that we will be requesting authorisation on their credit card to guarantee the reservation. Unfortunately we have had that many bad experiences in the past with uncovered cards that we do... More

I can't express enough how much I loved this place. The owners were lovely, the area it was in was perfect and charming, the furnishing and amenities were modern and comfortable. Truly, this place was the perfect escape. We happened to be there during a heat wave and even so, our room was cool enough with the window open and... More

Lovely place to stay. The owner is very helpful. The property has a resteraunt downstairs. Lovely food. The surrounding area is very good. Close to everything you would want to see. The only disappointment was the stairs.

Management response:

Thank you for your nice review. I would like to add that we always help our guests carrying their luggage up and down the stairs so don't worry about that. More

Welcoming, friendly staff we had a clean comfortable room with everything we needed - even two umbrellas! The B&B is in a lovely area with some quaint shops and bars but quiet at night for a good nights sleep - yet you can easily walk to all the sights.

Really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend this hotel. Liked the tea/coffee making facilities and the fridge (mini bar). The bed was really comfortable and the room had efficient heating. We found the front room to be quiet and relaxing. We arrived early and left our bags at the hotel, the room was ready about an hour later which... More

We recently stayed at B & B La Festa. We arrived early in the morning but were able to drop off our luggage then go explore Amsterdam. When we returned, our bags were in our room and our host made us feel very welcome. He had our tickets for Keukenhof gardens ready for us and gave us information about how... More

While we normally avoid Bed and Breakfast hotels, we are glad we decided to stay at B&B La Festa. Bjorn had been particularly helpful throughout the booking process and was there at check in to go over things and show us to our room. I liked how the B&B was more like a small hotel with a lot of privacy.... More

We found this hotel conveniently located. Although our room was a bit small it did have a fully equipped kitchen.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
