Very friendly welcome, small triple room (two singles and a double sofa bed) but you don't go to Amsterdam to party in your room. A bit of a mountain to 3rd floor, but room was clean and beds very nice. Great location and lovely breakfast. Nice welcoming feel, would stay again. For the money I was very pleased.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Boutique Hotel View. The quiet canal location was perfect for walking to sights and restaurants, and was close to a tram stop as well. We had room 304 on the top floor which was a hike up steep stairs, but we do not mind stairs. We had a small room with...

Have just returned from a stay in this hotel. Upon our arrival we were asked if we would stay in the owners home (a couple of doors down) as it was not possible for us to have the two tripples that we had booked. Our party did not want to be split up and declined the offer. Instead we were...

Natalie is the highlight. A great cook, friendly helpful service and willing to go out of her way to help. We felt taken care of, safe, well located, comfortable and would definitely come back and recommend this cute hotel to everyone. Our request for a kettle was immediately addressed as was our need for a printer and a space for...

A group of us stayed in this Hotel (Guest house) we were given double rooms as triple rooms. Two beds joined together with a sofa bed as the third bed. With the third bed laid out there was not enough room to get to the toilet as you had to climb over the sofa bed. This would have also proved...

My daughter and I were in Amsterdam for a week while I went to a medical conference. I wanted to stay in a location where my daughter could go to the museums while I was at my meeting. I couldn't have selected a better location. We were one block from the leidesplein, so plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and dance...

I was on a budget (problems with credit cards abroad), and Natalie really helped me with deciding where I should visit. As a lone traveller, the staff made me feel so at home. Mylarge room Overlooked the canal in what I consider the best district. Free Wifi (a godsend) and fared so much better than the 5 star hotel I...

Just back from a 4 night stay in this lovely hotel off the Leidse Plein. Great central location means it's easy to walk everywhere, but trams stop just around the corner. The 197 bus from Schiphol saves on the taxi fare too! We - a family of two adults and 16 year old- stayed in a 3 person room with...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boutique Hotel View, which manages to be centrally located but still removed from Amsterdam's tourist hoardes. We had the Princess Room, with a small balcony overlooking the canal. Owner Nathalie did everything she could to make us comfortable, including carrying our luggage up three flights of stairs and whipping up great homemade pancakes...

The Boutique Hotel View is a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam. Natalie, the manager, is very friendly, makes the best pancakes and omelettes and is always ready to help if needed. Also her staff is kind, competent and the atmosphere in the hotel is agreable and familiar. The rooms are very clean, convenient and - although it's in the...
