Very good all round, excellent cheerful & helpful staff, disappointing only thru' sleep disturbance traffic? outside & clunky stairs inside, perhaps double glazing & covering for stair treads would resolve.

We didn’t book through any of the discount booking sites but emailed directly with the hotel. After reading other reviews we didn’t want to book a room with too many stairs because of an old injury. Our initial enquiries were replied to promptly and clearly...More
We are still impressed by all the hospitality and helpfulness we met in this hotel. There is an incredibly good atmosphere in the reception room that serves also as breakfast and tea place or reading/computer room. The lady running this place is outstanding in many...More
A small gem of a hotel. Great location close to busy Leidseplein, with a beautiful canal view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The chats at breakfast made for a perfect start to the day. Our room was kept clean and tidy, everything we...More

I can't remember since when we were looking for the bus stop, there had been an accident in the tunnel and the busses couldn't get through so we shared a taxi, which isn't too expensive if there are three or four of you.

We did the same, we took 197 from the airport. You van buy tickets for the bus in front of the Airport in a little kiosk in the stop of the bus. You have to get off the bus at Leidseplein squarre. You have to cross the channel on a little bridge and after 100 meter walk you are in front of the hotel. Very easy even with luggage.
