We rented out both rooms in the B&B on 30th June 2009. Camillo was very helpful and a lovely man. The stairs to the rooms were very steep but I found that everywhere in Amsterdam. The rooms and bathroom was immaculate and really well presented. Everything we wanted was on hand in the room. DVD Player, TV, Kettle, Hairdryer etc......

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of June. The trip was to celebrate my partner's birthday and we were welcomed by Camillo with a bottle of champagne and home made dessert - lovely start. The location was perfect, five minutes from Central Station and walking distance to just about everything worth seeing although we...

I am telling anyone who is going to Amsterday that CityCenter Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay. My granddaughter and I spent only one night but wished that we were staying longer. It was a delightful experience!

Is a perfect place for a couple. Camillo & Joost are the perfect hosts, providing us any sort of information we needed as well as very good suggestions. The care they show in every detail is extraordinary. Very comfortable room, lots of details (DVD, coffee, tea...). Bathroom, even shared, is allways of bright cleanliness... and the shower cab is equipped...

I was excited about my stay at City Center based on these reviews, and I'm pleased to tell you that they are completely accurate. We felt totally comfortable, at home, and Camillo is a doll who serves a MEAN indulgent breakfast you can eat in your room. I'd go back to Amsterdam just to stay with him again.

CityCenter B&B is like a home away from home in the middle of Amsterdam. Camillo is there to greet you with tea/coffee and yummy dutch cookies upon arrival. The room is equipped with tea and coffee to make on your own as well. A DVD player with a selection of DVDs are available which is nice after a long day...

We chose CityCenter for our two-night stay in Amsterdam based on the many favorable TripAdvisor reviews - and were delighted to find them all true! The location was ideal, the room charming, the breakfast a real feast - all a terrific value. And the best part? Wonderful Camillo who greeted two train-weary travellers with a big smile and cookies and...

I usually stay with friends when I visit Amsterdam but because they were out of town this time I had to look for an alternative that was affordable, conveniently located and had nice amenities. I'm glad I found Camillo & Joost's place, there is nothing better: a 5 minute walk from Central Station; a safe, perfect location; spacious, quiet rooms;...

My wife and I were searching for a B&B for a 3 day stay and the City Center web site was easy to register and confirm our rooms. The location was perfect - easy walking from the train station, and in 3 days we did not need to take a tram - even the Rijksmuseum was a pleasant walk thru...

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
