1. Yes, it's the best way to go to the central station first and then take tram no 9 (direction Diemen-sniep), stop at "Pretoriusstraat" (11th stop) it's just near the police station, enter that street, you will find the Q hotel.
2. Go back to the main street, take tram 9 (direction central station), only one stop ( or you just walk 5 minutes), then take tram no 7 (direction "Geuzenveld"), stop at Leidseplein (7th stop).
3. You can say it the shopping centre "Oostpoort" or you can say Police station "Linnaeusstraat" as the hotel is on the street next to the police station ( 50m)
