Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

I stayed here back in March through Airbnb. I took to long to write a review and missed the deadline. This place is amazing! It is centrally located, and the host was very informative and helpful. The apartment is super cute, and the bed was really comfortable. Both my husband

The apartment was advertised as a 1 bedroom apartment but is only a small studio with the bed located in an area too small to accommodate even any bedside tables. The person sleeping closest to the window has to squeeze past the windows and curtains to get in/out of bed. When we

Hi there, We expected you to write this review. We have never experience such an unhappy person like you in our apartment that would not fit in an apartment of 50 square metres and that can only complain about the fact that there was no separate bed room. We explained that we do have always had a separate bedroom in this apartment but that the bedroom was small and that all our past guests liked sleeping in one part of the large living room so there is more space around the bed. We tried to explain this to you and our website was accurate with the pictures but since you booked almost a year upfront, we had the setting changed a bit more. There are also very large cupboards in the living room where you can store anything you would like but you were already very upset upon check in about the fact that there was no separate bedroom that you did not want to hear anything from us and you were VERY rude and impolite and we did want you to leave rather than to have you stay and act like you did. We offered you to leave as we want our guests to be happy and not force to stay in a place they do not like. We understand why your husband would want a separate bedroom.... We hope your future stays will be everything you expect and hope them to be! Best regards,

My husband and I stayed for one night and it was a great place. We were greeted warmly and given a walkthrough of all the amenities within the apartment along with a great overview of what was where etc in the city. The location was brilliant with most things a short walk

Dear Irene B, Thank you for Your interest in La ie en Rose. We rarely have hot weather in Holland, its exceptional when we do, so airconditioning is not an option in our building :). We do have seven large Windows that can be opened and some Good vans in case of "hot weather". The only problem is, when you open the well insulated windows is, that sometimes iT can be noisy at the streets, being in the middle of the city centre. Best regards,

Dear Tiago Piva, Thank you very much for Your request. We do have availability for the requested three days. IT is possible to check in at 7pm;) we only need to know so we can organize the check in. Storing luggage is possible at a drop and go office close to our apartments or in a locker at central station, also close to our accommodation. We are looking forward to hear from you again! Best regards,

"Good apartment but make sure you are fit enough to get up and down the stairs."
"Best location, for intercity sights."
"We stayed in 1st floor apartment so only 1 flight of stairs to negotiate. Bedroom has a double bed but not a lot of room to move however plenty of space in the living area to store things including a cupboard for clothes."
"If you are not from Europe please note this is a “self catering” apartment, not a typical B&B as you do not get breakfast. However, there are many wonderful places to dine nearby and the owners provide many excellent non-touristy recommendations . Also, the stairs are a typical steep and narrow Dutch staircase, so plan accordingly and do not bring too much luggage or anything too heavy."
"We stayed on the first floor. Unless you are extremely agile stay here. Lovely room overlooking the Main Street. Being Winter the windows stayed closed and we had no noise problems at all. Lovely room and very clean."
