I would recommend this hotel. Our room was small, but there was sufficient room for two people. The art on the walls is a nice touch. The location is good, in the Musuem Quarter, only a few minutes to a tram stop. I would throughly recommend buying a 24 or 48-hour pass for the tram - you can buy it... More

I stayed here with my friend in Nov 2013, we had been travelling around a few cities in Europe, Amsterdam being our last stop and this was by far the most comfortable place we'd stayed for our entire trip. It was also the most expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable... More

We stayed 2 nights..the room was quite small but had everything you need..comfy bed, clean bathroom and wifi. The breakfast was not included, but was well worth €5. The Rijksmuseum was a short walk away, as was the airport bus stop.My only criticism is that when we got off the airport bus, it was noteasy to find. The museum kiosk... More

The rooms are big and there is an individual light and a charging port for each bed. The beds are comfortable as well. I was impressed by the hotel-style room service where they make our beds and gave us a fresh towel! (It is actually a hostel, not a hotel). The staff at the counter were very helpful as well.... This is called Hotel , but actually is a hostel.. It has excellent location, one bus from the airport , close to the museums and restaurants. We were booked for the room on the top floor for a 5 female room. The bed sheets and towel were clean... However, the stench from the toilet bowl was so overpowering that we... More

we stayed at the hostel part, in an 8 bed dorm for 3 nights in early november. the room was big, with plenty of space to walk around even with luggages. there is a reading light and a charging port at the foot of each bed, and each person gets an individual safe. there are chairs available and even a... When we had booked it we didn't realize that we had booked a hotel that also runs as a hostel. That was a nice surprise. The rooms were really clean and the breakfast was delicious. I think it was 5 euros? Worth the price though, it's a buffet which we enjoyed. The wifi was a little dodgy at times but... More

As a group of 8, compromising of English and Dutch people, this place suited us. When we arrived we was told we could leave our bags and any special items could be left in reception. Ideal. When we returned as a whole group, that's when the customer service fell apart. We stayed for two nights with a total of 560... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
